Another NYT Editor Busted for Crazy, Offensive Tweets
Last year, Sarah Jeong was hired by the NYT Editorial Board. She had a long history of overtly racist tweets targeting white people.
Thursday, a senior editor for the New York Times apologized for decade-old tweets that were offensive, deleted the tweets, then locked his Twitter account.

The tweets, which were deleted late Wednesday, include one from Jan. 1, 2010, in which Wright-Piersanti referred to a “Crappy Jew Year.”
“I was going to say ‘Crappy Jew Year,’ but one of my resolutions is to be less anti-Semitic. So… HAPPY Jew Year. You Jews,” he wrote in one tweet.
Another, from December 2009, referred to the “Jew-police.”
“We are aware of these tweets, which are a clear violation of our standards. We are reviewing next steps,” The New York Times said in a statement.
Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.), who is Jewish, has called on Wright-Piersanti to be fired.
“An editor from the New York Times is scrubbing his [Twitter] account, this guy Tom Wright-Piersanti, because he was self-describing himself as an anti-Semite and he was going after Jews and others,” Zeldin said on Fox NewsThursday morning before saying he “should be fired.”
Wright-Piersanti also deleted other offensive tweets.
“There are four indian guys with mohawks in this one class, and each one is a douche in his own awful way. I hate mohawk Indians,” reads one tweet dated Dec. 8, 2009.
“I don’t hate Mohawk Indians, though. I love those guys. I just hate Indians with mohawks. Different indians, different mohawks,” he wrote in another tweet that same day.
Last year, Sarah Jeong was hired by the NYT Editorial Board. She had a long history of overtly racist tweets targeting white people. The incident left her unscathed because she wasn’t targeting the “wrong” kind of people.
Just last month, the NYT demoted its deputy Washington editor after he poked at Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib, tweeting, “saying Democratic Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar were from the Midwest was ‘like saying @RepLloydDoggett (D-Austin) is from Texas or @repjohnlewis (D-Atlanta) is from the Deep South.’”

Enough of the reverse racism. It’s racism, and they’ll be push back.
I object to the term “reverse racism”. It’s based on a completely unwarranted assumption that racism is normally in one direction, and when it goes in the other direction it’s somehow backwards. Racism naturally goes in all directions; the assumption that it doesn’t is itself racist.
Who gave this a thumbs down? That’s ridiculous.
Totally agree with this. It isn’t “reverse” racism, though I understand what is implied by it.
This is the problem with word meaning manipulation by the left in particular. The left have defined racism to exclude it being directed toward white people, even though we are seeing it every day.
If you “reverse racism” it would mean there is no racism, which I fear is what the left want the low information voters to take from any of such claims.
Some of the biggest racists involved in politics today are those of “color” (another term I hate as it is racist against all pale skinned peoples). Neither should be acceptable, but it’s how the left work to control dialog and people.
100% correct. sarah jeong and tom wright-piersanti along with the new York times should be reported to the civil-rights division of the justice dept. it is about time the white-hating racists at the civil-rights division of the justice dept. had to defend white people’s civil rights. we are all entitled to the equal protection of the civil rights act.

I hope that every Republican and conservative calls for Wright-Piersanti to be fired. This will force the NYT to double down and keep him (maybe even with a promotion). Then, every time the NYT publishes a self-righteous article or editorial demonizing some conservative for “racism” (read: disagreeing with the Communist agenda) we can rub their faces in their hypocrisy.

Can someone please ask the NYTimes what the minimum threshold level of antisemitism is to be hired. Follow up question, is there a maximum and if so have those employees with an excess level been sent to HR to receive their severance package?

Mostly Wright-Piersanti appears to be a loser who hates practically everyone. Although one must wonder at the political self-awareness of an idiot who would write “Crappy Jew Year,” especially someone who’s now a senior editor at The New York Times.
But if Sarah Jeong survived, I can’t imagine why Wright-Piersanti would not.
If there’s a larger issue here, it’s that open anti-Semitism has become increasingly socially acceptable, especially among the more privileged who chose to present themselves as fashionably leftist.

The NYT and others considered the MSM need to be classified as PAC’s, not news organizations. They are supporters of liberal candidates, to the extant that they lie delete or change any positive story of an opposing candidate.
A such they contribute as much as any other financial donor, if not more so, and need to have their contributions limited as others are.
