Democrats own Antifa, just like they owned Occupy

Democrats own Antifa, just like they owned Occupy

Even after 8 years of Obama, people still don’t like seeing our flag burned, cops attacked, and urine used as a weapon.

The Antifa street thugs who have rampaged on college campuses and cities long before Charlottesville have been embraced by the anti-Trump Democratic Resistance.

This should come as no surprise, because Democrats also embraced the Occupy Wall Street movement, from which the Antifa movement evolved, As discussed in my prior post, both are the outgrowth of the Black Bloc anarchists and Marxists, Gathering Storms And Threats to Liberty.

Embracing anarchists and Marxists didn’t help Democrats, if anything it contributed to the electoral carnage at the congressional and state level.

Democrats didn’t just embrace Occupy, they became Occupy. One of the most active and influential social media groups in the Resistance is named, you guessed it, Occupy Democrats. McCay Coppins featured Occupy Democrats in his article in The Atlantic, How the Left Lost Its Mind:

If Twitter is where liberal conspiracy theories germinate and spread among news junkies, Facebook is where anti-Republican propaganda can go wide.

Facebook pages like Occupy Democrats have millions of fans who ensure that every meme, video, and breathless blog post they publish has a good chance at virality. The content plastered across these pages includes standard-issue clickbait (“Trump Just Did Something Awful At His Golf Course”) and hyperbolic headlines (“Queen Elizabeth Just Told Trump To Go F*ck Himself And It Is Perfect”). But these feeds are also studded with straightforwardly fake news.

An analysis by BuzzFeed during the frenzied final weeks of the 2016 election found that nearly 20 percent of the stories posted by three extremely popular liberal Facebook pages—Occupy Democrats, The Other 98%, and Addicting Info—were either partly or mostly false.

The Black Bloc tactics of the Occupy and Antifa movements are now present at almost every anti-Trump protest, including Boston today where protesters against a pro-free speech gathering threw urine and rocks:

https://twitter.com/bostonpolice/status/898991076157136898

https://twitter.com/bostonpolice/status/898995186155626496

And ripped an American flag from a free speech protester:

The clashes with police in Boston looked just every other Black Bloc, Occupy and Antifa attack:

This is your 2017 Resistance and Democratic Party. Democrats openly cheered Antifa violence in Charlottesville, and compared Antifa to our soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, as we explored in Reversal of Reality. This tweet was from Hillary Clinton’s former spokesman:

https://twitter.com/brianefallon/status/897666629735264256

This will not sell any better than Occupy sold.

The media and political elites are so out of touch that they think Trump criticizing both Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist AND Antifa violence was the greatest sin ever, the public supports tearing down Confederate statues, and are as OUTRAGED at Trump as they are.

A funny thing happened on the way to this groupthink, as Josh Kraushaar writes at National Journal:

The reaction after President Trump’s tepid response to the neo-Nazi march in Charlottesville was swift and severe. One broadcast network devoted its entire nightly newscast to Trump’s chaotic press conference on Tuesday. The next day, The Economist portrayed the president screaming into a bullhorn shaped as a Ku Klux Klan hood on its cover—with other news magazines following suit. Many Republican officials have denounced the president in the sharpest terms since his election. Business leaders resigned from the president’s corporate councils in protest.

But in a repeat of myriad Trump campaign controversies, voters didn’t share the same level of outrage as the elites. The latest wave of polling shows that the president’s overall job-approval rating has inched upwards since the controversy, that a sizable majority of Americans support maintaining Confederate memorials instead of tearing them down, and that a notable minority agree with the president’s use of “both sides” language during Tuesday’s press conference.

The polling is simply the latest illustration of the gaping divide between elite opinion and the views of average Americans. It’s clear many voters don’t share the same sense of alarm about Trump as political leaders and journalists.

At this point the media should stop acting surprised. They have not learned the lesson of the 2016 election.

And neither have Democrats. The Resistance has done a good job at slowing Trump down, much better than I expected. But that Resistance and the embrace of Antifa could prove toxic at the polls, because even after 8 years of Obama, people still don’t like seeing our flag burned, cops attacked, and urine used as a weapon.

UPDATE: These videos via Twitter demonstrate the Black Bloc / Occupy / Antifa tactics used in Boston:

Why did President Trump praise the mob protesting against a free-speech rally in Boston? Among the protesters were some who threw bottles of urine at police and ripped an American flag out of the hands of a woman attending the rally and knocked her down. No denouncement of this? My head is spinning.

…”At this point the media should stop acting surprised. They have not learned the lesson of the 2016 election.

And neither have Democrats…”

Funny I was just reading Instapundit and Prof Reynolds keeps mentioning he was the first “Yalie Of The Week”. He goes on to say that this award didn’t provide any additional moral authority. But there’s the problem.

They believe they’re our intellectual, moral and ethical superiors. They’re used to GIVING lectures to the rubes, not being educated. They know everything, so who do a bunch of Deplorables think they are trying to teach them a lesson. And frankly the GOP isn’t much better (“that’s not who we are”).

You have to WANT to learn.

Remember the lesson of the election of 2000, after which Democrats persisted in demonizing Bush without mercy. It worked! Bush cowered in silence, effectively abandoning his conservative constituency, and he paved the way for the natural-born British East African usurper.

No one enjoys being ostracized. Even Trump has his limits. Consider that the GOPe now stands with Democrats in embracing the terrorists of Antifa — including McCain, Romney, Graham, the natural-born Cuban, Rubio, and the natural-born Cuban or Canadian, Cruz. We are extremely fortunate Trump won last year — he was clearly the only pro-American choice.

Commissioner Weasel of the Boston Police Department was unsure who the arrestees dressed in black were affiliated with, who the arrestee with the .38 revolver was affiliated with, who was throwing feces and urine, who the 30 arrested were affiliated with, and why the thug who beat the old lady in plain site of police was not arrested.
Further the protesters were heroes for protesting the right wing haters.
Who, as Fox News pointed out were actually free speech advocates that had nothing to do with white supremacists or the NAZIs.

Lies deceit deception – all to generate hate and violence
NEVER let the truth or facts get in the way of the BIG LIE !

This really is getting comical.

These street ‘morons’ (they don’t even rate being called ‘brownshirts’) have the sympathy of no one by George Soros, elected democrat and their media handlers.

You’ll soon see bullets over broadway.

These groups are totally out of control. As the violence ramps up, it becomes more likely that we will see running gun battles in our streets. And, the politicians areplacing law enforcement in the poosition of not being able to stem the tide of violence.

Every LEO learns early in his or her career that the best way to stop violence, and other forms of criminality, is nip it in the bud. And, LEOs practice that because they know it is much safer for them, as well as the populous, if the war never gets stared.

Let the ACLU wienies sue officers for stopping a riot. If they win, then throw them into the next one with only their briefcases for protection. See how quickly the become born again pro-law enforcement supporters.

Unless politicians allow the police to do their jobs, then we are on the verge of seeing an immense loss of life at one of these things. We have already seen three killed and several injured while being run down by a motor vehicle. What do you think will happen if a dozen people open fire with high capacity rifles?

No, this is no joke. Unless you want to have run in an armed convoy to buy groceries, people better pressure their politicians to allow the police to enforce the laws of this nation, RTFN. This is not politics, we are on the verge of civil war.

“This is not politics, we are on the verge of civil war….”

Most Americans see through this crap, and they will back the police and /or National Guard in putting down these malignant fools.

Funny, how obama’s FEMA camps will be backfiring:

Watch the malignant moron discuss them on Rachel Madcow’s show:

You are sadly mistaken if you think the police and/or the Guard will be on your side when the chips are down. As in Charlottesville, Berkeley, Seattle, Evergreen, San Jose, and elsewhere the police will follow orders. If those orders mean standing down while thugs crack your skull then that is just a day’s work. Just following orders.

The problem here is WHEN the political masters of the local police and the National Guard decide to utilize these forces effectively. Once the disturbances are in full swing, it is too late to stop them before extensive damage and loss of life has occurred. It is like a football game where the referees begin calling every single infraction in an effort to forestall illegal violence. If the referees, or the police, wait to long to do their job effectively, then they lose control of the game and it takes a while to recover that control. During that time players are injured unnecessarily.

You are correct that the majority of citizens will back police efforts to regain control. But, therein lies another problem. In many such cases, these same citizens are willing to back draconian measures, which will severely curtail their civil rights, in exchange for “security”. Remember, it is not the job of the police to back a particular ideology. Their main job is to maintain order and keep the peace. They will attempt to protect a person’s right to assemble and speak, in public, but they have no desire to die because a group of people insist upon putting themselves in harms way, without extremely good cause, to practice that right. It would behoove some of these groups to pick their battles more wisely.

Antifa, and related groups, HAVE to have conflict. They exist solely to disrupt and destroy an orderly society. If left to their own devices, they will generate enough animosity from the general public to force the political leaders of this country to wipe them out.

This has long been the teaching from the anti-overreaching government types: that the governmental entities will ignore (or actively promote) the growth of a civil disturbance to the point where it becomes a crisis, and then USE that crisis to justify “draconian” measures (such as firearm confiscation, general arrests of the populace, and internment camps).

We saw some of these tactics used during the Hurricane Katrina response. Notwithstanding the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act clause prohibiting it, I expect that soon we will see them again, as there are pockets where the Law Enforcement Communities believe that only they should have guns, and are actively acting against groups that open carry, claiming they are “disturbing the peace.”

“Facebook pages like Occupy Democrats have millions of fans who ensure that every meme, video, and breathless blog post they publish has a good chance at virality. The content plastered across these pages includes standard-issue clickbait (“Trump Just Did Something Awful At His Golf Course”) and hyperbolic headlines (“Queen Elizabeth Just Told Trump To Go F*ck Himself And It Is Perfect”). I would bet my eye teeth that this is being agitated by Media Matters, at least in part.

“But that Resistance and the embrace of Antifa could prove toxic at the polls, because even after 8 years of Obama, people still don’t like seeing our flag burned, cops attacked, and urine used as a weapon.”

Correct. The middle of the American bell-curve will support police and the enforcement of laws. Just as in the past. Why? Because it cannot be otherwise thus.

Americans will not allow our LEOs to be shot down without a powerful response. We still believe in a a civil society. Regardless of nutters on the fringes.

    CZ75Compact in reply to Ragspierre. | August 20, 2017 at 1:20 am

How long will middle Americans support police who follow the orders of their corrupt, anti-American political masters by behaving like Democrat thugs and forsaking their sworn duty? “I was just doing what I was ordered to do!” wasn’t an acceptable defense at the Nuremberg trials, and it should also be invalid in America.

Here is the problem. The rank and file police officer is required to obey the lawful orders of the people above him in the chain of command. And, this is how it should be. It becomes a problem when those orders run contrary to the individual officer’s conception of what his job should be. Now, to disobey orders can result in termination from the force. So, what happens is that those officers, who can not in good conscience continue to follow the orders given them by their superiors, leave the force. This has happened in Chicago, Detroit, New York, and the most stunning example is Baltimore. Solid police veterans have left, enmass, in these cities, and there have been substantial early retirements and moves to more law enforcement friendly departments across the country. Do you know who is policing YOUR city? Probably rookies and the less competent members of the force that you had 10 years ago. If the American public really cared about who polices them, then they should have addressed this problem 15 years ago, when the politicians started throwing their police officers under the bus in the name of political correctness. Now, they get what the deserve.

randian in reply to Ragspierre. | August 20, 2017 at 1:28 am

“Americans will not allow our LEOs to be shot down without a powerful response”

Not really going to happen. As the war ramps up, LEOs will do what they already do in Europe and are being ordered to do here: abandon the field. LEO leadership no long has the will to stand the media heat should they stand up to the left’s rioters (Detroit 1968 saw to that), and the leadership will make it clear to the rank and file they won’t be protected if they do.

Antifa is the Provisional IRA to the Democrats’ Sinn Fein.

They’re not as smart and not as brave.

Antifa is the modern version of the KKK — the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party.

Wanna-be storm troopers – without the military training or discipline of the Nazi stormtroopers.

Wait till they meet with serious physical resistance.

You seem to have an exaggerated opinion of just what serious physical resistance entails, and what the reaction to such resistance would be.

As an example, if *any* of the recent protests had an elderly concealed carry participant being beaten by a half-dozen Antifa goons, and they had managed to shoot one of the attackers, what do you think the media reaction would be?

Nazi Sympathizer Shoots Unarmed Minority During Alt-Right Rally is my bet, followed by arrest and prosecution of the shooter, along with 24/7 coverage of every evil deed the media could dig up on him/her.

          There lies the problem. Who
gives a crap what the democrat media thinks? -other than thequislings of the GOPe?

Stop giving it power. Have you forgotten who won the electionand why?

Want to up-vote TheFineReport.com’s comment, but it is apparently too deep to have an up/down button.

1000x UPvote! The media today is THE problem, as they have the 24/7/365 GLOBAL ability to control the conversation.

Turning them off is not the answer, because they still spew their agitprop-lies world-wide, with absolutely NO check on them. “Giving them power” isn’t really what we do when we counter their lies……but it is like a whisper in the dark without the same level of exposure, without global broadcast, and without a tarnished/damaged rep (e.g. Faux News, FAKE News = anyone NOT blessed by CBS/NBC/ABC/NPR/PBS/NYT/WAPO…).

With the 1st Amendment protection of Freedom of the Press, and court precedent practically making the “press” untouchable and unaccountable to ANYONE, it is power they wield whether we “give” it to them, or not.

The MSM has backed the wrong horse in this race.
The Antifa are even more emboldened now that the media has painted them as “freedom fighters” after the Charlottesville mess, and they are not going to go away.
They will be everywhere now. And they will continue to attack anyone who gets in their way, including the Police.
And more than likely they will start killing people
And the media will continue to dig themselves deeper by defending them.
“Well, it was a mostly peaceful protest…”

I’m cheered by the comments to this post. You guys are the best.

Question for Legal Beagles
Just saw on one of thr videos posted by One of the Ralky people
When the Virginia State Police disbanded the rally , he told them he was disbanding it because he could not gaurantee their safety .
It that not considered a hecklers veto and considered Unconstitutional
How Much Is Charlottesville going to pay out.
?

Remember when reading this August 12 was George Soros birthday
Jason Kessler who lead the rally was a former OWS /Soros operative.
He just ” converted ” to a White Nationalist in November 2016

One poster found a drone video above the car crash site in Charlottesville owned by crowds on demand.
It is a rent a mob company out of Los Angelos

https://crowdsondemand.com

Another video
In this video listen to the audio ,the car goes behind building ,then Crash noise screaming then it is showing the car Slowly driving down the road till it enters crowd.
The audio is nit matching.

Something that just struck me , He drove that car at a high rate of speed backwards and never left his lane .
How many of us could do that ?
How many 20 years olds could?
How many paid stunt drivers could .?

Another poster ( I cant find it )had a picture of mom holding picture of daughter that looked completely unlike the picture being circulated
He also found another Heather Heyer in the State Department hmmm.coincidence

The Charlottesville public defender s office refused to represent Smith because of solidarity with the deceased woman

Is that legal, is that ethical ?
Is that a ploy to possibly get said driver off on a technicality( Im not a lawyer )

    randian in reply to dmi60ex. | August 20, 2017 at 2:10 pm

The big problem with the “car as terror attack” meme is that the driver doesn’t go after the easy targets on the sidewalks to either side of him. He could have killed dozens had he done that, as Islamic automobile attacks do.

    CZ75Compact in reply to dmi60ex. | August 21, 2017 at 6:21 am

“The Charlottesville public defender s office refused to represent Smith because of solidarity with the deceased woman

“Is that legal, is that ethical ?”

I read that the judge chose a lawyer outside the city’s public defender’s office because all lawyers in it had a conflict of interest due to a personal relationship — one of their coworkers had a relative injured in the crash.

I usually dont try to go to tin foil hat territory but online posters are tearing apart videos ,there are a lot of strange things .

Connivin Caniff | August 20, 2017 at 2:20 pm

Also consider that Trump declared that the car driver was a murderer, without having a complete factual basis for that accusation. It now turns out that there is a video (which you will never see on major media) that shows that the panicked driver was subjected to an initial strike of a bat on the back of his car, which would panic anyone, especially in the middle of hostile territory, and his car was covered with bat-wielding thugs after the crash; he then understandingly backed out at high speed in panic. And no one in the media is entertaining the thought that the original leftist bat-wielding thug is the one who should be facing charges for precipitating the event. What would anybody do if his or her car was being struck by bats in the middle of a hostile mob? Shame on Trump and shame on all the media.

One thing I found remarkable was that the thugs who attacked the car after it collided with the other cars did not hesitate. There was no period of “what just happened” before acting as most people will suffer after such an incident.

CZ75Compact in reply to Connivin Caniff. | August 21, 2017 at 6:28 am

Is it not true that Fields did indeed murder Heyer? What must be answered by a jury is whether the murder was excusable or not.

Based on the clear video of commies converging on Fields’s car immediately post-crash, I have no doubt that he will not be guilty of leaving the scene of an injury accident. The video of his car being bludgeoned right before the crash, coupled with reports of Fields being attacked on foot after the goons with badges pushed the permitted rallyiers into the Antifa mob, and that his car was attacked with bricks or rocks prior to coming into view on any of the videos, may result in a finding of not guilty of murder or manslaughter. I trust the legal analysis of the trial here at LI will be interesting.

Whoever originally propagated the Normandy “meme” is laughably ignorant of history. Hitler, in his megalomania, provided those boys with a “permit” to “protest” on that beach via a formal declaration of war on the US.

    CleanTowelie in reply to Ronin0985. | August 21, 2017 at 12:47 am

Laughably? Try disturbingly. I just saw a video of an Antifa recruiter declare Stalin wasn’t communist and that when the murdering commenced he was actually ‘right-wing’.

What I am seeing is that the democrats are getting ready for the 2018 mid term election where they will have their “Soldiers of Soros” attack their political opponents. And in 2020 they will be used to suppress the supporters of President Trump. The big cities are run by democrats and they will have the Police stand off and allow their antifa allies break up the rally’s of President Trump. Antifa will have the tacit support of the democratic establishment.

Highly disgusting for Brian Fallon to compare our brave soldiers on D-Day with these masked thugs doing violence against free speech.

Democrats own this thug violence and will pay in 2018.

If you have to wear a mask to a protest, chances are there’s a serious problem with your protest or your methods.
