You remember Lane Pittman?

We covered how he was arrested for playing the Star Spangled Banner on July 4, 2015, on the street outside his friend’s house in Neptune Beach, near Jacksonville, Florida man arrested for playing Star Spangled Banner on 4th of July rejects plea deal.

How great was this guitar riff?

Long live the Republic!

I’ll still prefer the Anthem in its plain vanilla form. As in a good Scotch….”neat”. But as a fellow American….I say…”Rock on!”

Any version sincerely played by somebody who feels it and means it is moving. Whatever my preferences

Ah, yes. This country is great. Here we have a man who was free to indulge his freedom to be an utter idiot and he and his friends inconvenienced others and put them at risk by blocking public roadways and sidewalks to indulge their own selfish desires. And, for anyone who thinks that his actions were anything other than a purely selfish attempt to gain some kind, any kind, of public recognition on July 4, 2015, just look at him running around in the rain in the middle of a hurricane with an American flag. If he really wants to positively impact this great nation, the military is still accepting enlistees. Or, he could just do the rest of us a favor and stay in his house this year.

Save us from people of this ilk and those who are “inspired” by them. Happy Independence day, y’all.

Who are you, a clone of the Lionel Barrymore character from “It’s A Wonderful Life?”

We need more Americans like Lane Pittman – and his friends.

Did we hear the same from you about these malignant obama shills?

-Protesters with BLM shut down 405 Freeway
    -BLM protesters return to streets
-BLM: Thousands protest in US cities
    -BLM protest stops flights
And on and on and on…

Just what is it with these people at the Bureau of Land Management, anyway? Must be former dwarf president’s appointees.

      Are you for real?

This sight did not hold up BLM, Occupy Wall Street or any7 of these other selfish groups as heroes. But, you wish to hold up some clown blocking a public thoroughfare to play his guitar as being someone we NEED? He and his “friends” were blocking the street and the sidewalks, all public thoroughfares. He was denying the use of these taxpayer funded avenues to others. How is EMT van supposed to get down the street to save the life of the man having a heart attack? Pittman wants to play the Star Spangled Banner on his guitar. Greta. Have at. But, why is it necessary to inconvenience others, and possibly place them at risk, to do that? If I want to barbecue a steak, should I be able to block the street to your house or your drive way? When one lives in a society, one has a responsibility to have some concern and compassion for others in that society. Trying to excuse selfish stupidity by wrapping it in the American flag is ridiculous. Please do not encourage people like this, they only end up causing problems for others.

Yes indeed, we need more Lane Pittmans!

That was awesome! I also really enjoy Madison Rising’s stirring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner as seen during the credits of D’Souza’s America: Imagine a World Without Her.
