Reader Poll: Has Trump gone too far with CNN beat down Tweet?

YES, NO, UNDECIDED or I DON’T CARE

Has he “finally” gone too far?

Or is he simply manipulating the conversation?

Or both?

Here it is – tens of thousands of “likes” and “comments” and “shares” and climbing.

The tweet is based on this famous video clip of Trump “fighting” Vince McMahon:

Voted “I don’t care” because that is my absolute, honest reaction to all of this drivel going on between CNN and Trump.

It interests me about as much as two 14 year old girls having a slapfight.

Give it up LI. America has moved far beyond you grasp of what is happening. You are choosing to be part of the problem rather than part of the solution. Trump is president. Get used to it. He has already accomplished more than Obama and Bush combined.

We have held our noses to vote for your “nice” surrender monkeys for the last time. America has chosen to go another direction. Time to clean house.

MAGA!!!!!

Yes, I did over-generalize for sure. I recognize that there are several contributors at LI, like you and Mark Finkelstein, who “get it” and others who seem to be on their way. But whoever keeps deciding that we need yet another poll promoting another corrosive NeverTrump meme (probably a stubborn clinical law professor), like this one that challenges Trump’s very sanity, needs to move on. We knew what we were voting for and he is the very same guy as president that he was as candidate. We are NOT confused or disillusioned so stop it already.

There is a very good reason why relative upstart Breitbart News eclipsed the entire so-called “conservative” media space so quickly, they understand the grassroots base. People like me, the Army of Davids and Tea Party activists, support Trump. We are not even close to second guessing our choice. Why?

Probably the most shocking aspect of Trump’s epic campaign to me was how fast he made the masks drop among not only the known progressive establishment phonies but among those purporting to be “conservatives” as well. Beck, Levin (surprising me the most), Bill Krystol’s neocons and the rest quickly turned on those of us who recognized what was going on and embraced Trump. Levin even called us “morons and a-holes”. That was the last straw for me.

It’s time to move on. Trump WAS the guy we’ve been waiting for, the guy who had all of the pieces needed to win over a corrupt establishment running a rigged system. The clock had run out. We didn’t have any time left to find that “perfect” candidate. Trump was “the guy” and has proven to be plenty good enough to get most of the biggest and most important things done. He is already doing it without us. We should all be getting ahead of the curve by now instead of second guessing only to be proven wrong over and over again. Maybe Trump knows what he’s doing?

Ann Coulter captured it best in her column “I Was Looking For A Taller Honest Man”, a referring to Diogenes’ life-long quest to find one honest man:

“This is not an election about who can check off the most boxes on a conservative policy list, or even about who is the best or nicest person. This is an election about saving the concept of America, an existential election like no other has ever been. Anyone who doesn’t grasp this is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

The nitpickers are like the cartoon of Diogenes looking over the man before him, and saying: “I was hoping for a taller honest man.””

There was nothing derogatory conducting the poll or the article.

The poll results speak for themselves. Why you are offended by LI putting up the poll is beyond me.

You either are not reading my entire comment or misreading it. It’s not about the poll being derogatory. My point is that having it at all on that particular issue is corrosive. Should we be expecting to be polled on every single CNN talking point? Let the Progressives and NeverTrumpers conduct their own polls.

Besides, no one is going to be citing this poll to solidify their arguments. It’s yet another flawed online poll It’s not conclusive about anything. The comments are a better indicator about where we stand.

Let’s not waste our time analyzing and discussing pointless issues that our political enemies want us to get bogged down with. Let’s help The Donald keep their heads exploding. Take the battle to THEM, not second guess everything he has already done as he moves on to his next stratagem. It only takes seconds to compose those tweets. We love them! Why would we want him to stop? Because the enemy is offended? Really? Geez, why is it that we never win again?

JoAnne in reply to Pasadena Phil. | July 2, 2017 at 3:28 pm

I’m laughing at myself as I find myself in complete agreement with you! I was not aTrump fan but he’s winning me over by being himself. No political doublespeak, no pretending to be anything but himself. I’m even coming to the conclusion that he’s genius in his use of Twitter, something I adamantly opposed at first. For the first time in a long, long time, I look forward to hearing my president speak!

tom swift in reply to Pasadena Phil. | July 2, 2017 at 2:36 pm

    Give it up LI.

Early in the campaign it was pretty thick in here. I don’t think as many as three commenters saw any virtue or even positive potentials in a Trump candidacy. Worse, the posts and comments were generally extremely—even irrationally—hostile. It was so bad I began using the term Trump Derangement Syndrome, in obvious analogy to the same phenomenon in Bush’s case.

The hostility has slacked off quite a bit, but not because any NeverTrumpers have changed their minds. People generally never change their minds about anything. However, the overtly hostile ones have been posting less of late.

gospace in reply to tom swift. | July 2, 2017 at 4:12 pm

I was anyone but Kasich in the primary, with Donald John Trump my next to last choice. And happy to be in one of the two upstate districts that kept Donald John Trump below 50%. I voted for Cruz. But once he had the nomination, I supported him fully. Never had any expectations of him but one- he wouldn’t be Hillary. And he isn’t. And he’s really doing a fantastic job of not being her. Supreme Court Justice Gorsuch for one. And a lot of lower court conservative justices another. He’s exceeding my expectations. And if he continues to exceed them as remarkably as he has so far, the GOP establishment can primary him with all they’ve got. President Donald John Trump will be getting my vote.

I’m not seeing the poll but I say it’s about time someone called out the Commie News Network.

You have to disable your ad-blocker to see the poll.

Liz in reply to snopercod. | July 2, 2017 at 12:01 pm

I use Firefox and AdBlockerPlus. It’s easy to disable since it shows up on the top bar then refresh the page, vote on the poll and check results and then enable ABP again.

rdmdawg in reply to snopercod. | July 2, 2017 at 12:09 pm

In his 1941 essay, Wells, History, and the World State, “George Orwell” discussed H.G. Wells’s sweeping concepts of the dynamics of history and his subsequent insistence that Adolf Hitler was simply impossible, and therefore negligible. So much for the idea that what you believe is negligible won’t hurt you.

Incidentally, pretty much all Orwell’s essays and newspaper columns are available online. He was that strangest of creatures, a thoughtful and reflective Communist.

Tom Servo in reply to tom swift. | July 2, 2017 at 2:13 pm

I think Orwell’s complaints about late industrial-era capitalism were valid. His mistake was that he thought a centrally planned government could cure those excesses, while in fact only free and open markets with less regulation could cure them – as it did.

For all his brilliance, he never could quite grasp that it was Government itself that was the enemy; and that Government would ALWAYS be the enemy.

The polling service we use, Polldaddy, uses javascript for its polls. So if you have javascript blocked or use a browser that automatically blocks javascript, it will not load. Not sure whether ad blockers affect it. Nothing we can do about it. Polldaddy is widely used (including in Drudge polls) and is free.

It’s painfully obvious he’s trolling the media with each of these tweets. And it’s working, in that he’s getting constant attention.

While I can’t say I love his style of expression all the time, he is diverting media attention from things he’s doing that they wouldn’t like and would otherwise be bellyaching about. In addition, he’s exposing their ugly underbelly and I hope he moves on to NBC, ABC, CBS, WaPo and NYT.

Most Entertaining President Ever!

With every blocker disabled the poll is a No Show.

As to the question: NO DJT has not gone far enough as CNN is still belching up commie left propaganda.

I couldn’t care less about this or what Joe or Mika said, or what some random eight year old called his classmate.

I’ve known the MSM is full of partisan hacks for a long time.

Right now the GOP is furiously giving up against govt controlled healthcare -while the jackass president slapfights a few dimwits -and that is what I care about.

Middle-of-the-road (spineless) ‘pubs have been claiming for years they’d repeal obastardcare on Day One if they had total power.

So we gave them that power. They balk. Primary their cowardly butts. They make me ill.

For example, I know that people fought tooth and nail for Rob Portman, but he has balked now that the rubber has met the road.

    Disgusting.

Their hands are still tied. They only control 52%+ of three-thirds of a government that is owned lock, stock and barrel by global elitists, elitists who disagree with the voters. They are powerless to deliver on their campaign promises that returned them to “power” with a clear mandate.

Elections may be a good idea in theory but hey, let’s not go crazy here. Makes us sound like conspiracy theorists.

So … you figure Trump can’t dash off a few tweets while he’s finishing off his morning coffee, then devote the rest of the day to something useful, while the press and the Dems wallow helplessly in ritual fury?

You can never mock and irritate the left enough.

The one where Obama, like the petulant little limp wristed bitch that he is, snarked that ‘at least I’m President?’

And then his hand picked heir apparent gets schlonged and his legacy dismantled in a few short months, leaving him to go on a world whining tour.

LOL. Pathetic. Everything about Obama and his scab kneed sycophants is pathetic.

Henry Hawkins | July 2, 2017 at 11:31 am

I’m embarrassed by the whole lot of them. Like f**king children.

I voted, “I don’t care”. Saying that, Trump actually looks like he is doing something productive in DC. The Republicans are still playing games with themselves. The Democrats have no coherent message accept to take down the president. The media are, well I won’t say it because it would be rated R. The whole federal government is in actuality useless in accomplishing real productive and positive change. So, if we are to be subject to this type of headline, why not enjoy it. There is nothing funny about the stench in DC.

That was F’ing awesome. I’m still laughing. The only thing that would have made it better is midgets. But then, midgets make everything better.

Instead of these stealth anti-Trump polls, how about getting right to the point as polling whether it would have been better to elect Hillary? Or Jeb!?

All you sensitive snow flakes who clutch your pearls every time Trump tweets need to get some perspective. Trump is the Sherman tank America needed to blast through the corrupt establishment wall dividing the ruling Masters of the Universe and the citizenry! There is no way to overstate that accomplishment. We can now all rush into the fortress and start rooting out the corruptocrats.

So enough with you sniveling Eeyores and your sensitive “fellings”! Stop stabbing us in the back! Move on! Either follow your American Revolution ancestors to Canada or stay and fight with us! But choose a side already!

Henry Hawkins in reply to Pasadena Phil. | July 2, 2017 at 12:19 pm

You and many others call constantly for everyone to join the fight, eye for an eye, bust ’em in the chops, and so on.

Does there ever come a time when you guys quit cheerleading and come back to post the results of you actually personally doing anything in the field other than this endless cheerleading?

tom swift in reply to Henry Hawkins. | July 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm

Does there ever come a time when you guys quit cheerleading

      Not until the job’s done.

Henry Hawkins in reply to tom swift. | July 2, 2017 at 2:39 pm

That’s my point. Cheerleaders don’t play a single down, have zero causal effect on the game, and are facing the bleachers, not the field. For political cheerleaders, talk is cheap. I’m referring to those cheering others to get into activist/antifa faces, to literally fight them, eye for an eye, and all that. If all they do is cheerlead, *that* job will never be begun, let alone completed.

I do not speak of cheerleading for the president. I speak of all this cheerleading for political street fighting that posters apparently can’t/won’t/aren’t doing themselves. Talk. Cheap.

No, you fantasize about it. I recall nothing of that sort here. I’m opposed to it, myself. Not because it’s cheap, but because it’s just plain wrong.

Admittedly, I may have missed an egregious sample here or there; I’m not a serious student of every word at LI.

          Odd…

Barry in reply to Henry Hawkins. | July 2, 2017 at 1:22 pm

Poor Henry, your sensibilities have been harmed.

Sports teams have cheerleaders, why can’t we cheer on Trump?

Personal doing? “We” elected Trump. Pretty good start.

Since this is a keyboard website, we use the keyboard.

Henry Hawkins in reply to Barry. | July 2, 2017 at 2:22 pm

You guys are missing my point and defending strawmen. Of course people can cheerlead Trump – I do, not needing to like the guy to hope he does what he’s promised – but the cheerleading I’m talking about is a call to street violence, get in the activist/antifa faces, etc., etc. Many posters here, all Trump fans, Phil chief among them (if not Chief), are constantly calling for others to fight the leftist activists, get in their faces, fight fire with fire, meaning returning the violence, and so on and so on. At least a half dozen posters, all egging each other and others on.

What I want to know is whether they ever step into the fray themselves, as they constantly encourage others to do, or are they all mouth? I’d like to see their posts recounting how they fared when they jumped in themselves instead of just urging others to do so.

In the absence of such posts I can only conclude they are all mouth.

tom swift in reply to Henry Hawkins. | July 2, 2017 at 2:48 pm

… constantly calling for others to fight the leftist activists, get in their faces, fight fire with fire, meaning returning the violence

Is that what “fight” means? Criminal battery?

You see no meaning for the word “fight” short of, say, taking a few rifle shots at Congressmen, or playing Brownshirt?

I personally wouldn’t use the word “fight” for that stuff; I’d say something more like “nuts”.

Barry in reply to Henry Hawkins. | July 2, 2017 at 2:52 pm

Henry, I’m sure you know the term metaphor.

I may have missed it, but I don’t recall anyone at LI calling for actual violence. I use the term “war” frequently. It is a metaphorical construct for the battle between those that wish to eliminate any semblance of liberty and those that believe it should be the primary goal in this country.

You don’t like Trump. But you are not the problem. Others blather on about Trump being a collectivist, etc. They use their keyboard to do this. Some of us also use the keyboard to “fight” back against such BS. Since most here, including you, post anonymously, you have no idea what else they do.

People that get up and go to work everyday, raise their families, and keep their noses to the grindstone contribute a great deal without being overtly political. If they occasionally use the keyboard to vent a bit, you might want to cut them slack, rather than trying to analyze them.

Henry Hawkins in reply to Henry Hawkins. | July 2, 2017 at 3:34 pm

I’m only hearing from posters who haven’t made literal calls to fight back against leftist activists/antifa/etc.

Butt-hurt Barri does NOT want you analyzing him.

          Guess why…???

He’s REAL happy to analyze/call me all kinds of bullshit, but you, with your life-time of experience, should NEVER, EVER look at ol’ Butt-hurt with an analytical eye.

No, indeed. Just like the other T-rump cultists here, they are beyond all that. There motives and views are pure. They will tell you they are the truth, the way, and the life. Often when you don’t ask them…

Ooh, here is poor raggsy jumping in to show us more of his year+ long foolishness.

Now there is a lack of wit that Henry should analyze.

Hey Henry, how ’bout using that cognitive dissonance thingy and apply it to a halfwit that can simultaneously say Trump corporation ch11 filings are bad, and then a couple of inches down the thread discuss how ch11 is a good thing…

I don’t know. Using the WWE to mock CNN and fake news seems kind of ironic. Because so much of wrestling is fake.

Trump is a brawler. Always has been. Did CNN think he’d lay down and take it while they spread lies in an attempt to unseat him? Trump hasn’t tried to silence them but he damned sure hasn’t laid down and let them run the show.

I listened to this vlog post yesterday:
https://www.pscp.tv/ScottAdamsSays/1ZkJzyXQXgoGv?t=7

it put the whole thing in perspective.

This is hilarious. Trump is just “trolling” the media. I even think that this tweet makes the Mika one look better because it shows that is tweets are just designed to mess with the snobbish media elite.

Stetler has a tweet out complaining that WH says that Trump is working on the health care bill during the weekend, but there are no tweets from Trump to confirm it….

See Instapundits’s twitter feed to see it.

I’m pretty tired of the GOP treating the MSM like a fair and impartial partner. Trump is … Trump. But the truth about the media had to be said.

Henry Hawkins | July 2, 2017 at 12:24 pm

Various studies claim that Twitter is anywhere from 15-50% fake accounts, cyberbots, ghosts. The ‘real’ people are swatting at invisible flies. Very entertaining, but accomplishes nothing.

MaggotAtBroadAndWall | July 2, 2017 at 12:31 pm

That’s a great tweet. An absolutely fantastic tweet. It has nothing but the very best video. It is the best tweet. CNN are total scumbags. Total losers. A disaster. It’s not even a real network. Total fakers. Look at the big, beautiful blue text in the tweet. The very best punctuation. It’s a great, great tweet. Very important people say it may be the greatest tweet ever. That much I can tell you.

Fareed Zakaria praised theater’s presidential assassination drama, so #CNN can’t say one, negative thing about video https://legalinsurrection.com/2017/06/closing-the-curtain-on-presidential-assassination-theater/#more

CNN doesn’t take their privilege and responsibility seriously. JournoLists are biased and even prejudiced press.

America…meet your new set of b*lls!
Somebody in this Country needs to have some ’cause it sure ain’t the GOP establishment.

If you’re gonna dish, you better be able to take.

LOL, keep tweeting President Trump!

Our President is based. I had to look that up:
based means being yourself. Not being scared of what people think about you. Not being afraid to do what you wanna do.
That video was just a joke..I thought it was funny. Bluto says a based President is the best President.. I agree.

Trump, having been a media personality before his presidency, knows the MSM’s so-called journo insider-speak. So his tweets and take downs of the media uses language that the journos have thought was “protected” until Trump became POTUS. Now he’s employing MSM’s time-tested tactics against them and they’re having a meltdown.

My vote: NO! Bring it on. It’s time for the doctor to heal himself.

How Breitbart gets ahead of seeing a reason to post such a poll:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/07/02/donald-trump-twitter-presidential-constitution/

That is why they get over 40 million eyeballs every day (month? It’s huge whatever it is). They are good at pushing the ball down the field instead of calling time out to talk about the enemy’s feelings and how maybe we went too far this time.

Henry Hawkins | July 2, 2017 at 2:32 pm

I know of zero evidence for this, but given the historically theatrical ways of politics, ‘journalism’, and media in general, and given the way Morning Joe was besties with Trump during the campaign, you have to wonder if this whole sophomoric reality-show-like running battle between Trump and Morning Joe isn’t a total set-up to get exactly what it’s getting – ratings for Morning Joe and a distracted viewership for Trump. As a CNN show, supporting Trump once elected would be a ratings disaster, and CNN is purging on-air talent that won’t attack Trump or endorse CNN shows that do (ex. Greta Susteren), so there are motivations for Morning Joe to pretend controversy in cahoots with Trump. Officially they are journalists and the US president, but they are all also entertainers.

It’s the cynic in me. The same folks who’d say such secret theatrics aren’t possible are the ones who accept polls as is, never dreaming you can pay for polls to say whatever one wants. We know that GOPe members say one thing in public about Democrats, but work hand in hand with them on the side. Why not media theater between Trump and MJoe? Like I say, zero evidence, but would I be surprised? No.

And I’m pretty cynical when it comes to politics. You do remember when the nevertrump group claimed Trump was just in this to help Hillary? He would drop out once the R field was decimated? Among about another thousand or so BS predictions?

That one is so far out there, cynicism doesn’t apply.

And, it just distracts from the truth.

Oh, there is evidence. There’s a Trump tweet that suggests that Joe and Mika are saying hostile things about him due to pressure from their employer.

They do not have to talk or communicate in any way directly, to pull off some political theater.

Henry, I think you are on to something….But, you’re in the wrong arena….
Look at the DJT tweet…it was a video clip from WWE.
Instead of reality TV, think…..Pro Wrestling!

        Just imagine….
CNN and MSNBC hold a nationally televised, joint news conference….
On the stage, behind a podium…stands Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper….and Mr.& Ms….Morning Joe!
The room is packed with reporters…Wolf steps to the mike…

WB: Donald Trump is the most dangerous man in the world…He..Must…Be…Stopped!!!!

        Anderson steps forward…
AC: CNN and MSNBC have joined forces to defeat the scourge that is…Donald Trump! This so-called president will no chance against us…..The News World Order!!!!

        Mika grabs the mike…
Mika: We realize…a lot of you people were stupid enough to believe in this scam-artist…But We Know What’s Best for…

Mikas’ rant is interrupted by the Presidential theme song…
(Da, Da, Da,Daaa, Da, De, Da, De,Daa, De, Daa, Daa…)

At the back of the room…holding a mike…defiantly stands the 45th President of The United States…Donald J Trump!!!

DJT: I heard you losers were having a Fake News convention…so I thought I’d come down and settle this….
        Once…And…For…All!!!

Anderson looks to his left, then to his right, and with cocky smile says…

Oh, ‘Enry ‘Awkins, say it isn’t so! You’ve lost your sense of humor! Come back, ‘Enry!

Couldn’t possibly care less.

What continues to astound me is that the supposedly-serious news networks actually seem to think that this is important. (I really don’t think they’re just pretending.)

The VA bill.
Katie’s Law.
The South Korea visit.
MS-13.
Reorganization of the Air Force.
SCOTUS unanimously striking down the stay of Trump’s travel EO.
SCOTUS 7-2 on Trinity.
New policies out of the EPA and the Department of Education.

There are real things happening. Things that real journalists covering the White House would be writing articles about.

Some news-reader’s facelift? It’s possible I could care less, but I don’t see how. Same with the wrestling video.

So, we have put up with the vast majority of the “news” media slandering and libeling Trump and his associates for the last year plus. The media, and especially CNN has embarked on a campaign to remove a legitimately elected, sitting President of the United States of America [a “soft coup”]using baseless allegations and outright falsehoods. This has gone beyond politics or a difference of opinion. This an orchestrated, direct attack against Trump and this country. It is tantamount to treason and the media is hiding behind the 1st Amendment to do it. Then, when the President points out their actions and slams them in public media they whine and cry like little girls [I apologize to women and girls who do not whine and cry over most things] and hold up the victim card while clutching their pearls. By the end of the year more people will trust a used car salesman with a checked sport coat, brown and white wingtips and grease in his hair than they will trust reporters. It is both tragic and very satisfying to see the media circling the drain.

Thank for the apology! Maybe we can change that statement to read, “they whine and cry like college students and their leftist professors!”

I’m not a Trump fan, nor am I a NeverTrumper.

I will say that I love how he is playing the press thuh- meedeeuh like Stradivarius.

“Politicians” don’t tweet or talk like Trump. Guess what? Trump is not a politician. Didn’t run as one, doesn’t try to be one.

He is President, will be for at least 3 1/2 years. DEAL WITH IT!!

After 8 years of our President weaponizing the Executive Branch against his enemies, I’m more than comfortable with Trump weaponizing Twitter against his. Seems far less dangerous to our Republic to me.

I find it hysterical. The left has no sense of humor. Love Trump’s.

everyone AND Trump know Pro Wrestling is FAKE.. most now know CNN is #FakeNews so it’s actually VERY FUNNY.. but not to someone(leftist) that desires to be outraged.

The frustration emanating from people like Pasadena Phil is justified: on one end of the corrupt, coward GOPe spectrum is McCain and Boehner; on the other, it is Mike Pence. Even still, we all wonder if Pence became president, would he fold to democrat media pressure like a cheap suit/Romney?

Probably would. So we all know the GOP is useless to us, and a collection of stuffy hacks we no longer respect or trust.

WE are Donald Trump. Donald Trump is US.

Go, Donald, go – we’re right beside you.

See, Prof. Bill, you aren’t really down widda whole “we are T-rump and T-rump is me” tribal chant.

You are not sufficiently voluminous during the One Minute Hates, and professions of love for Der Donald.

You are a prime target for denunciation and re-education by the Tribe. You simply cannot show any independence of thought or tendency toward critical thinking. Theses are anathema.

No, indeed. All your polls should test the question “How much do you love Der Donald?”. Then you’d be in the fold. All for the Collective, none outside the Collective, and the Collective for all.

Which side looks more like One Minute Hates (sic)?

    – The side that has persuaded otherwise reasonable Americans that a senator endorsed by his state’s NAACP chapter is a secret white supremacist?
    – Or the side that objects to that?

Ragspierre in reply to clintack. | July 3, 2017 at 9:33 am

You need to embrace the power of AND.

This isn’t a matter of “sides”.

First person to bring up the progs false accusations of racism towards Senators Sessions – Raggsy

But only after it became clear Sessions was not going to endorse Cruz and would endorse Trump.

Just like the progs he supports.

Ragspierre in reply to Barry. | July 4, 2017 at 7:54 am

Did Sessions take a bench on a Federal District Court?

          No. His nomination failed.

Did he apologize for comments he made that were racially tainted.

          Yes, he did.

Is he a racists? No, he is not.

Are you a liar? Yes, you certainly are.

You are more a “Prog” than I.

Barry in reply to Ragspierre. | July 3, 2017 at 12:27 pm

    “tribal chant”

A nevertrumper tribal member chanting about tribal chant.

Geez, where is Henry. This requires analysis.

Polls never list the right answer. Where is: “He didn’t go far enough!”

JimMtnViewCaUSA | July 2, 2017 at 10:37 pm

Heh.

“In just 4 hours, 212 Thousand likes of the President’s tweet!”

It’s a joke. People have to get a sense of humor. Trump for all his faults is a real person. Obama was a phony, that signed incredibly dumb deals. How do you sign a deal where the US gives China a billion dollars, shackles our industries and China does nothing. Not to mention the Iran deal, with huge payments to Iran for virtually nothing.
I will take the tweets as long as he follows sensible policy objectives and appoints conservatives to the Courts.

I say we should have a tag team match at the next Wrestlemania . Trump and Mattis vs Pajama Boy and the Hildabeast .
Loser has to go to Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Ranch and run the Skullbuster

I cannot find the poll itself (probably OBE), but I would have voted no. From one of my posts elsewhere:

Trump wasn’t hired to wave his pinky while sipping tea. He was hired to be a pit bull in a nasty fight with the swamp. Mika and Joe remain foolish enough to walk by the pit bull’s fence, taunting him along the way. They should be careful. We don’t lock the gate to this pit bull’s yard and some of us don’t sympathize with people bitten while taunting a dog. It’s about time a republican fought back against denigrating attacks from the swamp. Watch clips from their show. Mika and Joe were in full Trump- attack mode and deserved to be bitten.

Republicans have been “going high” for too long and letting the MSM, democrat leaders and operatives sling untrue, inaccurate or simply hateful barbs at them. Trump was hired to fight back.

Do I want him to respond to all levels of issues in this manner? No, and he does not. When an issue requires presidential repose, so far he has done an excellent job of responding appropriately… as President Trump.

However, when one of the opposition (and make no mistake by believing that the MSM isn’t opposition, just like democrat leadership who are a bane to our republic) starts slinging mud and/or throwing out lies, we get the response we’ve ALL expected from The Donald. That’s why he got elected.

I am an Independent totally disgusted with the leadership of both parties. Democrats across congress tried to kill us all when we were in Iraq. Some day when the data becomes declassified I’ll prove it. And every time I re-swore allegiance to America and our constitution I was agreeing to fight not for a party but for the country as a whole. Until he proves differently, Trump appears to be fighting the same fight, the only the way he knows how to do it. Does he get dirty? Yes sir, and that’s the dog we bet on.

Paraphrasing Forrest – I’m not a smart man, but I do recognize a patriot. Donald J Trump is fighting the fight as he knows how. Suit, tie and diplomacy when appropriate and brass knuckles, mud and, yes tweets when required. And he’s drawing out opponents to the constitution in the process. The more CNN, AP, MSDNC, NYT, Wash Post, etc., go dirty to fight him, the more they reveal about the war they are actually waging on every day Americans and the truth about how they’ve been assisting the communists, socialists and (redundant) democrat leadership all along.

obama dragged America up to the precipice of socialism, lawlessness and degeneracy (both political and sexual)…. and tried to throw us over. Pulling us back is not going to be an easy fight, if it can be accomplished at all.

I would have loved another Reagan or Ford (yes, I’m one of three who liked him), but we were offered the McCains, Grahams and others who had become entrenched in the swamp, or nice guys but political weaklings like the Huckabees and Carsons; likeable guys destined to lose the war if they won the office.

Finally, sadly, McConnell, Bohner, Ryan and the rest wouldn’t actually fight to save America, so we hired a vigilante. Let’s hope he can turn the office back over to someone like Mike Pence when he is done so we don’t need to hire another one.

…grateful that we have a POTUS who will go into into battle. POTUS is working to free the media from the ideology that has enslaved them for way too long.

Why Trump can’t lose on Twitter:

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/07/03/kassam-look-something-shiny-trumps-tweets-are-using-the-medias-own-alarmism-against-them/

And:

Twitter: 32 million read Donald’s tweets

CNN JoMika audience: 150,000/day

So Twitter audience gets to see for themselves why CNN is getting re-labeled VFN while VFN loyalists’ heads explode in frustration and outrage.

MAGA!!!

Was there a ROFLMAO choice? Because I really wouldn’t care, except it’s making Libs insane. Good Lord, it was just a logo, not even a particular person’s face.

Remember these are the guys who played Jib Jab vids of Bush, McCain, Romney, Palin, Ryan and other conservatives on nearly endless loops –
