Planned Parenthood recently opened their new D.C. headquarters office. Built in an old auto shop, Planned Parenthood's new digs cost $19.7 million to build and was funded by private donations (all the more reason America's largest abortion purveyor doesn't need federal monies, but I digress). The Washingtonian took a tour of the "swanky" new office concluding "the Carol Whitehill Moses Center is the most thoughtfully designed of all the organization’s facilities nationwide." Judging by the photos (taken by Stacy Zarin Goldberg), you'd think you were in a swanky library or Google headquarters, not an abortion mill. And that was intentional.

Fox News is reporting the individual who unmasked names of US citizens in intelligence reports is a high-ranking, well-known individual. The network also alleges Trump and the names of members of his transition team were unmasked for purely political purposes. Adam Housely, Fox News reporter on the Nunes/intel report beat, confirmed a New York Times report from Thursday, which named two individuals they believed were Nunes sources. Housely clarified that Ezra Cohen-Watnick and Michael Ellis were not sources but were helping Chairman of the House Intel Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes, navigate the intel waters. Nunes' source is still unknown.

Elizabeth Warren is emerging as the symbol of "resistance" to Trump, despite the attempts of Clinton World to slide Chelsea into that slot. That's not by chance. Republicans are desperate to find someone to run against in 2018. Republicans need a new foil. There is no obvious Democrat to run against, because there are no big name national Democrats left. Pelosi and Schumer are old news. Bernie has had his day in the sun. Warren fits the bill.

The Washington Post ran a story last night continuing the media effort to brand everyone in the Trump administration to be incompetent at best, and creepy to boot. This time the target was Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. In the article, based entirely on supposed anonymous sources, WaPo asserted that Tillerson is so weird he doesn't even let career diplomats make eye contact with him, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson spends his first weeks isolated from an anxious bureaucracy (emphasis added):

I had to check the date of this Washington Times article by Ben Wolfgang, just to make sure it wasn't already April 1.
The Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday sent out a press release touting praise for President Trump’s rollback of Obama-era climate-change regulations this week — but the agency accidentally led the email with a blistering quote from a Democratic critic. The press release includes a quote from Sen. Tom Carper, Delaware Democrat and ranking member on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, wrongly attributed to Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, a West Virginia Republican.

On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough argued that the MSM is failing to cover the story of the Obama admin "unmasking"and leaking the names of Trump campaign people caught up in the intercepts of Russians. According to Scarborough, 95% of the story is the attempt by the Russians to influence the election. But that still leaves the 5% that the MSM is ignoring because the people unmasked were disliked, and in the case of Michael Flynn, "loathed" by the media. In contrast, said Scarborough, the improper activity was "by people who, let's face it, most of the people in the media like and admire."

South Korean authorities have arrested former President Park Geun-hye only three weeks after a court removed her from office. Prosecutors have accused "her of bribery and abuse of power." From CNN:
"Major crimes have been ascertained and there is a concern that the suspect might attempt to destroy evidence," Judge Kang Bu-young said in a text message to reporters. "The court recognizes the need, necessity and reasonableness of the suspect's arrest."

People on the left frequently mock conservatives for being people of faith and believing in God. Yet if you listen to leading voices from the Progressive community, you would think we're living in the end times. Trump recently rolled back some of Obama's policies on climate change and has also taken action to roll back regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency. In response, Van Jones wrote this for CNN:
Van Jones: Trump may have signed Earth's death warrant As usual, Donald Trump is completely upside down on the facts. In 2015, President Barack Obama created the Clean Power Plan to slow climate disruption. It was the first action ever taken by the US government to cut carbon pollution from existing power plants.

The Democrat Attorney General Xavier Becerra of California has invented a new crime: Performing Undercover Video Journalism While Not a Democrat. Of course, he didn't call it that. Nor did his predecessor, now U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, when she launched an investigation of the undercover video operation to expose alleged fetal body part sales by Planned Parenthood. That investigation resulted in 15 felony charges that were just announced, as we covered the other day, California’s AG Charges Undercover Reporters Who Exposed Planned Parenthood Baby Part Selling.

The Senate Intelligence Committee held its first hearing on possible Russian interference during the 2016 presidential election and its "information warfare." It was revealed that hackers targeted Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) during his presidential campaign:
"Former members of my presidential campaign team who had access to the internal information of my presidential campaign were targeted by IP addresses with an unknown location within Russia," Rubio said Thursday. "That effort was unsuccessful. I would also inform the committee within the last 24 hours, at 10:45 a.m. yesterday, a second attempt was made, again, against former members of my presidential campaign team who had access to our internal information -- again targeted from an IP address from an unknown location in Russia. And that effort was also unsuccessful."
