Two important testimonies that Trump was right about Sweden

Two important testimonies that Trump was right about Sweden

In a land of cover-up and denial, some courageous people are speaking out.

Donald Trump’s offhanded comment about immigration problems in Sweden was met with two reactions.

First, deception. Much of the media and many political opponents invented the fake claim that Trump referred to a terror incident that happened the night before. It was a lie, as the transcript showed, NBC Falsely Suggests Trump Talked of ‘Terror Incident’ in Sweden.

While Trump may not have used the most clear language, he clearly didn’t mention either specifically or in general a terror incident happening the night before. I understood what he was referring to when he mentioned something last night — it was a Fox News report on a video about immigration problems in Sweden.

Second, Trump was attacked, including by the Swedish government, for relying on a video report that allegedly exaggerated the problems. As we reported, the filmmaker stood by his video, Filmmaker Confirms Numbers on Refugees And Crime in Sweden.

Here is the original video, which featured Swedish Jewish reporter Annika Hernroth-Rothstein:

and the Fox News Report:

Ironically, after the media firestorm attacking Trump, there was an immigrant riot in Stockholm, Days After Trump’s Comments, Violence Erupts in Sweden

There have been two important testimonies backing up Trump.

Why are testimonies, which by their nature are anecdotal, so important? Because Sweden tries to hide data regarding immigrant crime — or rather, it consciously decided over a decade ago to stop keeping statistic on the national origin of crime perpetrators. Additionally, Sweden treats complaints about immigration as hate crimes, and will prosecute police who try to report on the problem.

So in this atmosphere of cover-up and concealment, testimonies are critical.

Annika Hernroth-Rothstein

There are two important such testimonies. One is by Hernroth-Rothstein herself. I have been familiar with her writings about the problems faced by Jews in Sweden for years, and have featured her first-hand accounts in my own reporting on Sweden, including For Jews in Sweden, “this is not living”.

Hernroth-Rothstein has a column in National Review in which she explains that President Trump Was Right about Sweden. Please read the whole thing, I’m just excerpting parts (emphasis added):

For the past week, I have been under tremendous pressure to rescind my statements and to swear off not only Amy Horowitz but also the entire premise that Sweden has problems relating to its immigration policies. Trump’s statement, however confusing, highlighted the most taboo topic in Swedish society and the well-oiled apparatus that does its utmost to keep it under wraps. And now that the world has its collective eye fixed on our country, the Swedish establishment is fighting hard to convey the party line….

As Swedish-Iranian economist Tino Sanandaji observed at NRO last week, we see a remarkable lack of statistics showing a correlation between immigration and crime in Sweden — not because there is no such correlation, but because there are no statistics. There are no statistics because the government has consistently chosen not to release them or bring the issue to light. This secrecy has sparked the rise of a populist right in Sweden, and it has also failed the most vulnerable — the immigrants subjected to extremism and crime in urban neighborhoods where the pundits and politicians never go — sacrificing them on the altar of political correctness.

Because the truth is that Donald Trump was right to compare the Swedish crisis to that of the rest of Europe, and the reactions to his words were out of panic rather than persuasion….

There is an inevitable clash of values, and the refusal to acknowledge that clash is only intensifying it, victimizing those who are least likely to have their voices heard. We now find ourselves with societies within the society, policed by gangs and plagued by violence; we see honor killings on the rise, sexual assaults being covered up by the police and the media, and public bathhouses gender-segregated to accommodate religious fervor. These are issues that deserve to be brought to light, and refusing to do so does nothing but spread the darkness.

Peter Springare

A second important testimony comes from a Swedish police investigator Peter Springare. I first read about him in a NY Times article which was (for the Times) relatively balanced, Sweden, Nation of Open Arms, Debates Implications of Immigration:

Mr. Trump is not the only person pointing to what he considers to be the troubling consequences of immigration to Sweden. This month, a seasoned investigator with the police department in Orebro, Peter Springare, caused a stir with a Facebook posting in which he discussed the case files on his desk.

“What I’ve been handling Monday-Friday this week: Rape, rape, serious rape, assault rape, black mail, black mail, assault in court, threats, attack against police, threats against police, drugs, serious drugs, attempted murder, rape again, black mail again and abuse,” Mr. Springare said. He went on to list the first names of the people he said were suspects, all but one of which were traditionally Middle Eastern.

The post, which was shared 20,500 times, led to an outpouring of support. People sent hundreds of flowers to Mr. Springare’s police station, and more than 170,000 people joined a Facebook group supporting him.

But both his superiors and the police in other departments said that they did not recognize his description, and that national levels did not resemble his claims.

Manne Gerell, a lecturer in criminology with Malmo University, said more immigrants than Swedes commit crimes, but the exact numbers are hard to determine. And on the national level, he said, the imbalance is not nearly as great as Mr. Springare suggested.

So I went to the Facebook post by Peter Springare, dated February 3 to find out directly what he had to say (automated translation)(emphasis added):

I’m so fucking tired. What I will write here below, is not politically correct. But I don’t care. What I’m going to promote you all taxpayers is prohibited to peddle for us state employees. That tends to drive in a non-career and non-individual pay. Even though it’s true. I don’t care about all of this, will soon still retire after 47 years in this activity. I will now and every week to explain in detail what for employing me as investigators / investigator on coarse mcu police in örebro. It’s not going to be good with the opinion or other leftist kriminologers perception in the general debate.

Our pensioners is on its knees, the school’s a mess, healthcare is an inferno, the police have totalhavererat etc etc. We all know why but no one dare or wants to peddle the reason, due to the fact that Sweden always lived on the myth of prudes ultimate society who have osinnliga resources to be at the forefront when it comes to be the only politically correct option in a dysfunctional world that beats Knot on their own by destructive behavior in different name of.

Here we go; this I’ve handled Monday-Friday this week: rape, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, rape-assault and rape, extortion, blackmail, off of, assault, violence against police, threats to police, drug crime, drugs, crime, felony, attempted murder, Rape again, extortion again and ill-treatment.

Suspected perpetrators; Ali Mohammed, mahmod, Mohammed, Mohammed Ali, again, again, again Christopher… what is it true. Yes a Swedish name snuck on the outskirts of a drug crime, Mohammed, Mahmod Ali, again and again.

Countries representing the weekly all crimes: Iraq, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Somalia, Syria again, Somalia, unknown, unknown country, Sweden. Half of the suspects, we can’t be sure because they don’t have any valid papers. Which in itself usually means that they’re lying about your nationality and identity.

Now we’re talking just örebro municipality. And these crimes occupies our utredningsförmåga to 100 %.

So it looks here and has been like for the past 10-15 years.

Return next Friday with a statement for the past week

On February 4, after reaction, Springare posted how he was being called racist (automated translation)

If you can’t discuss the problem of crime among immigrants without attributing it to the racist propaganda, we are very bad out there. Now it’s hardly any of all those who responded to my last post, who claim this, but I want to develop further.
I’m on immigration and the reception of asylum seekers in an orderly and structured forms, so I am once and for all not racist bent when we come to it.

However, I am very concerned about the crime and intend of the immigrant criminals, which strongly overload and is about to overturn our justice system.

The problem is that nobody wants to talk about this. The only one who sometimes seems to react to this phenomenon is the vast majority of other save but respectable immigrants who live in fear among these criminals.

In Sweden we have always wanted to argue that in order to evolve or to correct anomalies in society, we must take action and make things right before it goes too far. Before action is taken, the relevant facts are developed via expert research etc. This is to find causality between this phenomenon and efficacy. You’ve done so in the past anymore back when, for example, it applied to crime and social background, education, etc.

But why nobody wants to grab the obvious around migrant crime and the introduction of a completely different human and legal values of immigrant criminals. It’s incredibly important to examine this and produce adequate facts in order to be able to find a solution to the problem. When not so we have to be made within the judicial system, for example, peddling our own empirical research in this area. With the risk of being branded as xenophobic or racist. Instead politicians put your head in the sand and deliver such as this, we must ensure that we get a change of view of sexuality in young Swedish men, to deal with all the sexual harassment of girls and young women.

You don’t believe that this is true, when daily spree in a container full to the brim felonies committed by utrikesfödda and second-generation immigrants.

This is not to hang out immigrants and asylum seekers as criminals. This is to safeguard these groups and all other non-criminal who live and work in this country. Once again; it is about immigrant crime and immigrant criminals. Not about immigrant / Asylum seekers as a group.

Springare was criminally investigated for speaking out, but not charged.

Conclusion – Malmo was the Warning

These two testimonies reflect what I have been writing about for years. It started as Islamist violence against Jews in Malmo, tolerated by leftist politicians, and spread beyond Malmo.

In Sweden, Jews once again were the canaries in the coal mine.

People like Annika Hernroth-Rothstein and Peter Springare are sounding warning sirens in the face of attempts by the Swedish establishment to hide the truth. Listen to those warning sirens.
