Dem Leaders Think Obama’s “New” Organization is “Bullsh*t”

Remember Organizing for Action (OFA)? The grassroots army that made Senator Obama President Obama?
OFA recently relaunched to protect Progressive values from the new Republican governance. Though it worked wonders for President Obama’s political aspirations, top Democratic operatives claim it almost killed the Democratic party.
“This is some GRADE A Bullshit right here,” said Stephen Handwerk, Executive Director of the Louisiana Democratic Party.
Asawin Suebsaeng of The Daily Beast reports:
“This is some GRADE A Bullshit right here,” Stephen Handwerk, executive director of the Louisiana Democratic Party, wrote in a private Democratic-listserv email obtained by The Daily Beast. Handwerk was reacting to news of OFA’s post-election retooling, which was shared “without comment” to the group of state-level Dems by Crystal Kay Perkins, executive director for Texas Democrats.
“It also to me seems TONE DEAF—we have lost over 1,000 seats in the past 8 years… all because of this crap,” Handwerk continued. “Let’s get through the next two weeks—but then we gotta figure this out and keep the pressure on. WOW.”
Others on the thread shared these sentiments.
“Yes, it sure is,” Katie Mae Simpson, executive director for the Maine Democratic Party, replied. “OFA showed up in Maine, organized a press conference on saving [Obamacare], with one of our Dem legislative leaders speaking, all without ever mentioning that they were in state and organizing. They hired someone I know, which is somewhat helpful, but my god, they don’t have a very good alliance-building process.”
Such grievances, though expressed privately, are nothing new among state Democratic Party leadership.
“[With] all due respect to President Obama, OFA was created as a shadow party because Obama operatives had no faith in state parties,” Nebraska Democratic Party Chair Jane Kleeb told Politico last week.“I love and adore everything about President Obama except for OFA,” South Carolina Democratic Party chairman Jaime Harrison (who is also running to chair the Democratic National Committee) said at a recent DNC “future forum,” according to The Washington Post.
“Tone deaf” is a good way to put it. Democrats are losing control of state houses across the country and OFA has siphoned support and resources away from the party infrastructure.

Part of the left’s problems is this absolute love and adoration for the man who fancied himself a king. Everywhere he campaigned, Dems lost seats. He’s a pretender, a fraud, and a narcissistic man-child who cares nothing for anyone, save himself. Why would you hitch your wagon to this “fraud star?”

I vaguely remember that there was talk of the Rs splitting into a conservative and center parties. But, if Trump fixes a bunch of things, that may not occur.
Instead, we may be seeing the Ds splitting into a Ctrl-Left/Progrssive party and a more moderate D party.
According to Breitbart never Trump fool Sen Mike Lee is at the heritage foundation lecturing on how conservatives need to join the nationalist populist Trump train and become the voices for the forgotten man. So Trump is unifying the GOP.

Dems will admit that the path blazed by Dear Leader-From-Behind is a disaster for the Party and for the country … but only in private. But when bloviating in the press, haranguing a captive audience, or voting, they’ll carry on as if anybody who wants to halt the Train to Disaster is a Nazi, a Russian stooge, an inbreed troglodyte, blah blah. And all the while, the cliff keeps getting closer.

I think OFA should organize more left wing activism. Democrats need to dress up like vaginas more often; send more bloody used tampons to the Texas governor; burn down more cities; and form more mobs to stop people from talking on university campuses.
If OFA can help ramp those things up I’m confident everyone will be clamoring to put Democrats in charge again. They’ll be golden.

Having scanned Lee’s speech, I find it deeply disappointing. Conservatives are not Populist/Nationalists, though I’ve said we can find some common cause. This is natural, since Der Donald has hi-jacked so many conservative ideas and themes.

Favor, please: when doing a story on Obama (or Clinton, or Trayvon Martin, for that matter) – could the editors here choose a picture than a photo other than one that would have been chosen by the bad subject’s press agent?
The photo above is not reflective of the hate-monger that we suffered through for 8 years anymore than Clinton’s 30 year old photoshopped photos, or Martin’s baby pictures reflect either of them.
Better yet: no photo at all. We know what they looked liked.
