Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and the magazine itself endorsed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. However, Wintour said President Donald Trump’s win will not affect the magazine’s tradition of showing off the First Lady and Melania will not become an exception:

Michelle Obama appeared on three Vogue covers. First lady Melania Trump, once appeared on the cover of Vogue in 2005, “We have a tradition of always covering whoever is the first lady at Vogue and I can’t imagine that this time would be any different,” Ms. Wintour said.

Very refreshing to hear since some fashion designers have refused to dress First Lady Melania Trump, a former model.

In fact, Vogue had Melania on a 2005 cover, modeling a wedding gown.
