Clinton Collapse: Hillary rushed away from 9-11 ceremony

Clinton Collapse: Hillary rushed away from 9-11 ceremony

Campaign staff reports she was “overheated” and is now recovering.

https://twitter.com/MentalityMag/status/774998925845692417

This weekend has been a very challenging one for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.

Yesterday we covered the impact of her poorly chosen phrase, “basket of deplorables”, in social media.

Today, she was rushed away from a 9-11 ceremony after what is being termed a “medical episode.

Hillary Clinton had a “medical episode” that required her to leave a 9/11 commemoration ceremony early on Sunday, a law enforcement source who witnessed the event told Fox News.

The Democratic presidential nominee appeared to faint on her way into her van and had to be helped by her security, the source said. She was “clearly having some type of medical episode.”

Details are slowly streaming out. Fox News reports that people who saw Hillary Clinton indicate that it looked as if she fainted.

A video appears to confirm this observation.

(h/t @zgazda66)

Fox News reporter Rick Leventhal, on hand to cover the ceremony, stated that she had to be helped into the vehicle by her detail and offers some witness accounts:

Fox News reporter Rick Levanthal said one person told him her knees buckled as she stepped off of a curb.

She also appeared to lose a shoe as she walked into the vehicle.

Though the day is not being reported as particularly warm in New York City, the Clinton campaign states that the candidate was “overheated” and is now recovering at her daughter’s apartment.

A statement from her campaign said: “Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen.

During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better.

There have been numerous reports questioning the status of Hillary Clinton’s health and demands for her to release her medical records. This incident will certainly lead to more questions and demands.

We offer her good wishes for a speedy recovery no matter the cause of today’s episode.

All better now? CNN via Buzzfeed would have us believe so:

The AP is reporting that Hillary is now heading to her home in Chappaqua.

Clinton walked out of daughter Chelsea Clinton’s apartment on her own and made only a brief comment to the reporters waiting outside, saying “It’s a beautiful day in New York.” She waved and posed for a photo with a young girl before getting into her motorcade.

The campaign also did not take reporters in the motorcade after Clinton’s departure from her daughter’s apartment. An aide said the former secretary of state was heading to her home in Chappaqua, New York.

Video has surfaced from another angle, and it looks even worse than we first imagined.  [Edit note:  from an LI reader regarding this video:  ” It looks like the same video as the @zgazda66 twitter video just zoomed in, cropped and mirrored.  It makes it look like it is from the opposite side but I do not think it is.”]

This is real–she’s sick. Although I will her well, it’s a foregone conclusion that Tim Kaine will become President in the first year of a Clinton administration.
Progressives tolerate Hillary but they despise Kaine. We must ensure that Progressives understand and vote for the only true Progressive in the race: Jill Stein!

That feeble old Marxist liar isn’t going to make it.

But I bet her sycophants will try to spin this into some variation of “Secretary Clinton was overcome with emotion as she thought about her harrowing escape from the Twin Towers that day 15 years ago.”

I think I heard somewhere that chugging a gallon of Drano will stop that nagging cough of hers. Somebody pass that tip along, will ya?

MaggotAtBroadAndWall | September 11, 2016 at 12:29 pm

I was going to say something smart alecky like, “let’s see you hack up half of each lung and not get a bit dizzy”, but that would be a deplorable thing to say.

She gets overheated a lot. It’s time for Bill to put her in an nice nursing home where she can tell the deplorable patients how she is so important.

Bubba needs to part out what’s left of her to the geezer ranch…and join her. Or just park her broom and get on with a peaceful, dignified, serene death.

It was less than 80 degrees with a light breeze when she imploded. Two hours later, when it was warmer by several degrees, and bundled up in the same black suit, she walks out on her own steam seemingly fine.

I wonder about this scenario – she has seizures and whatever else so she’s on meds that pretty much keep her out of it – in a daze. When she has to surface for an event, which she does little of, they have to take her off her meds for several hours so that she doesn’t come off as a blithering, babbling, drugged-up zombie. Then, one or more of whatever constellation of conditions she’ suffering from, strikes. That’s why she’s watched like a hawk and has a cadre of aids and SS running interference for her.

She is very sick, I believe. Even if she wasn’t, she still doesn’t have anyone’s interests but her own on her agenda.

It’s past time for the Clintons to exit public life, stage left.

Clearly, she is not physically able to be president. So, why are the leftists pushing so hard for her to be POTUS? What is their real plan? She will be POTUS but others will be busy.

Something is wrong here and it is more than Hillary’s health.

Good news for us NeverTrump people. I’m more comfortable with the Kaine presidency than the Hillary presidency.

Initially as a staunch Cruz supporter, was #NeverTrump.

THEN Justice RB Ginsburg changed my mind, by showing how critical it is to get a Constitutionalist SCOTUS (ala A Scalia RIP).
Grow a pair, be a patriot and VOTE for DJ Trump – I f you don’t like in 4 vote for someone else.

This is the most critical election of my (69 years old) lifetime.

Just fast forward and vote in “Nieto”. How patriotic.

It was 78 degrees in Central Park.

…and 49% R.H. with a gentle breeze – what the rest of us call a “nice day”. The media is going to try and make this out as “heat stroke” but that ain’t gonna’ fly.

They sort of carried her away the way those bachelor-party guys carried away the love doll.

Maybe the act was just too much for her soul and it decided to take a break. After all, the treasonous Wahhabi money machine visiting the 9/11 memorial and mouthing empty phrases. Democrats and #nevertrumpers are breaking out the black arm bands.

Question Wallace will ask Hillary at a debate: Given your recent health issues, if your health becomes a serious issue, will your resign for the good of the country?

Listen for the pin drop and the shrill squeak coming from her ear piece.

It’s almost as if she has a really horrible flu and no strength. She was leaning at a severe angle on the post, has trouble holding up her head, ankles collapsing in the walk to the van and then a total collapse.

A perfect metaphor. At a symbolic remembrance of when the US stood strong and united in the face of Idlamic terrorism, Hillary went weak and fainted,

Who is ready for the 3am call? Not Hillary “what difference does Bengazi make” Clinton.

Trump was never my first choice, but give him credit. He called it 6 months ago when he started to say Clinton didn’t have the stamina to be president.

Hillary will have excellent medical care in PRISON.

Connivin Caniff | September 11, 2016 at 1:15 pm

Kaine and Unable.

Insiders say that she was revived by putting a cashier’s check under her nose.

I’m seeing enough Dem pundits running with this as suddenly being a big story that I wonder if they’re looking for an excuse to dump her for someone who might beat Trump easily.

as a Trump hater, why do you care – you’re sitting this one out (of your mind).

As a lover of my country, this could be a crucial question.

Or did you miss that in your drive to call me names?

If some like Cicile Richards got in the race (somehow), that could be the old ball game, given that T-rump is polling at best even against Lady Macbeth.

My money is still on Biden to “save the nation” at the “one second to midnight” moment if they can not drag Hillary over the finish line. It is all about WNNING…. what ever it takes. The Left has worked hard for decades to reach this point…. for the Left … they can still play the long game, but for the Republic it is now or nevermore.

I do not know how he would qualify to be on the ballot.

Here’s an interactive map of the deadlines. As far as I can tell, all of the deadlines for the Democratic Party have lapsed. Further, I recall reading that ballots are now in the process of being printed in California, and presumably so in most states. November is not all that far away. Hillary is the Democratic candidate.

This could get interesting. With the dems’ penchant for making up “the law” to suit their fancy, I’m wondering what they must be planning right now. Will Bill legally change his name to Hillary? Will Obama suspend the elections until she’s better? Whatever it is, it ain’t gonna’ be pretty.

        TX-rifraph in reply to snopercod. | September 11, 2016 at 2:46 pm

I was thinking that Hillary must stay alive until the election. Then, the Dems will start the legal actions to “suspend” the election until the Supreme Court decides whatever. Of course, Obama would just stay in office until all of the legal issues are settled (years?).

You attorneys may want to study Bush v. Gore to see what worked and what did not work for Gore to get a clue as to what tactic might work in these circumstances.

          gospace in reply to TX-rifraph. | September 11, 2016 at 5:08 pm

just my thought, but I strongly suspect “suspending the election” will bring out every Patriot in the country on the new election day- and they aren’t going to vote for the party that suspended the election.

          Milhouse in reply to TX-rifraph. | September 12, 2016 at 2:03 am

No matter what happens, 0bama’s term will end on January 20th, at noon EST. Nothing can keep him in office for even one second after that. It doesn’t matter if he declares that he’s not leaving. He will no longer be president, and nobody will take his orders.

snopercod in reply to snopercod. | September 12, 2016 at 10:38 am

Well here it is. The Bylaws of the DNC provide for a “special meeting” to fill a vacancy on the National Ticket. See Article 2, Section 7(c).

Pretty easily. The DOJ will invoke the Voting Rights Act to claim that the candidate must be placed on the ballot.

alaskabob in reply to Valerie. | September 11, 2016 at 4:31 pm

Now which laws are set in concrete? Yes, you are right about deadlines, but “in a national emergency” the election (as proposed a few weeks ago) could be postponed and that could be the avenue for Biden. It wouldn’t be “fair” to have the Democrat Party not fully represented by a candidate…. right? The rule of law these days is “who rules makes the laws”. With a 4-4 tie in the Supremes, a move by Obama could stand.

Milhouse in reply to Valerie. | September 12, 2016 at 2:00 am

Those deadlines are for getting the party slate of electors on the ballot. Once the ballot line has been secured, they can change candidates any time they like. If they do it before the ballots are printed, the new candidate’s name will appear in their slot. If not, then the old candidate’s name will appear, but all votes are for the slate, not the candidate herself, so they just have to tell voters that a vote for Clinton is really a vote for Kaine (or whomever they choose).

Jack Burns why are you so mean to the wobbly old goose? “Cashiers check” -thats kind of harsh don’t you think – stop that chuckling right now!

It’s established scientific fact…zombies can overheat more easily than humans due to lack of a functioning cardio-pulmonary system. This peculiar sensitivity to climate change will only endear her to her base.

Given how the Presidency ages all of them, try and imagine how she would deal with it physically. If she now “faints” from heat in temperatures/humidity the rest of us think pleasant – is she going to hide in the WH cooler during the summer months?

I, for one, and looking forward to a report on how Joe Scarborough treats this story. I am not interested enough to watch his show, but if somebody wants to report, I will read.

Well, the Empress of Chappaqua is home resting comfortably now, thanks to extra antihistamines. They say if alcohol is a crutch, Jack Daniels is a wheelchair.

and it was the same little girl that gave her flowers under sniper fire at Tuzla. Run Serpentine!

Note – at least the big black guy on her left helping her into her van is very likely not part of her security detail. We see him pretty much every time she has health issues. He is the one who had the injector (apparently for anti-seizure meds), the one helping her up stairs last spring, and the one recently appearing to pat her on the back. He looks like Secret Service, but likely is not, but rather likely a medical professional, paid for by either her campaign, her family foundation, or directly by the Clintons.

MaggotAtBroadAndWall in reply to Bruce Hayden. | September 11, 2016 at 2:53 pm

Why wouldn’t one of the secret service guys be a medical doctor? I mean, if we’re going to pay a bunch of guys to jump in front of a bullet for a candidate, then why wouldn’t you have at least one doctor as part of the detail in case one of them actually jumps in front of a bullet?

I would not find it surprising if the black is a doctor. I’d expect Trump to have a doctor on his security detail, too. I don’t know if that is the case, but it would make sense to me.

The Dems are planning a “Weekend at Bernie’s” Hillary Clinton administration.

Dehydration? Hillary will be 69 in October. It might be that, even though the temperature and humidity were not that high, her age + medication + not taking in enough fluids could have been a source of her difficulty.

You are correct it could be, the only problem I have with that is that, regardless of how much I dislike her and disagree with her, Hillary is still an intelligent person. She has had problems with Dehydration in the past and it caused her to look bad in public, there is no way she or her staff would let that happen again.

      DieJustAsHappy in reply to Gremlin1974. | September 11, 2016 at 7:56 pm

I understand that it is now being reported that she had (has) pneumonia. In consideration of some of your other comments, I, likewise, echo your questioning of how she might withstand the rigors of the Oval Office.

Among the many concerns I have about this, I include one that if should withdraw and the Dems come up with a last-minute pick who is popular, the run for the Oval Office might just be out of Trump’s reach.

Sick in mind, and equally sick in body.

Couldn’t happen to a more disgusting human being.

This makes me think the Democrats are sliding towards the philosophy of the tactics of the old USSR. I’m thinking of Yuri “Prop ’em up” Andropov.
“He has a cold”
two weeks later:
“He died”

Well as a Nurse I can tell you that what I see is an elderly lady who has continued neurological symptom and seem to have been exacerbated by the stress and workload of the campaign. Even someone with only mild medical problems could experience and extreme exacerbation in symptoms under that kind of stress.

If you notice in both videos she isn’t even keeping herself upright on her own, she is leaning against the metal pylon and the lady that has her arm is helping to balance her. When she moves forward off of the pylon she is already unstable and starting to fall, the only thing that is keeping her up is her staff.

If this is what the pressures of the campaign do to her then what is going to happen to her when a real crisis hits, if she is president?

How is she going to make it through a 2 to 3 hour debate with Trump if she can’t make it through a memorial where she isn’t even speaking?

I agree. If you look at the people surrounding her, she is also the only one wearing darkly shaded glasses. Why?

RodFC in reply to Mati. | September 11, 2016 at 5:06 pm

Some people have suggested the dark glasses are a ruse to disguise her “prism glasses”.
Other have pointed out that blue glasses reduce the effects of dyskinesia which she has because of Parkinson’s.

I’d put Parkinsons on the list. As for the blood clots…. paraneoplastic syndrome anyone? Watch the media work overtime and Goole/Facebook/Twitter wash this away. This makes Mrs. Woodrow Wilson look stellar at president-behind-the-curtain.

      Gremlin1974 in reply to alaskabob. | September 11, 2016 at 5:02 pm

It could be a combination of all of those. I wouldn’t even rule out post-concussive syndrome. Remember we have seen her fall in public, there is not a snowballs chance in a supernova that they would let us know that she has fallen even more in private, which is something I suspect has happened. I can tell you from experience working with people who are “fall risk”, which she obviously is, for every time you see them fall there is at least one time they fell that you didn’t see.

jack burns in reply to alaskabob. | September 11, 2016 at 5:07 pm

Excellent guess. I’m leaning toward pulmonary edema secondary to heart failure with maybe a twist of Hashimoto’s encephalopathy. She’s on Armour thyroid, that’s the high octane replacement so it’d be interesting to see what her TPO antibodies are. Whatever it is, she’s toast.

As a medical professional there is one thing I want to ask.
Her entourage practically throws her in the van.

I understand that her SS and aides would not have thrown her in the van, but laid her on the ground until someone could evaluate her.
That is , unless they knew what was happening to her.

    Is that true?

      Gremlin1974 in reply to RodFC. | September 11, 2016 at 6:11 pm

I am by not means an expert to SS protocols, but since the candidates are basically treated by security as if they were the president I am thinking that they would not just lay her down, they would put her in the van and asap to hospital. Remember when Bush Sr. threw up that time he refused the ambulance and they put him into the limo. I just can’t see them letting her lay there on the ground.

I believe in this case the area was already secure, and they can quickly secure the area even further.

If they don’t know what is causing the problem though, wouldn’t moving her instead of laying her down be a big risk? The point is they had to know what was wrong with her to throw her in the van that way.

ATM I don’t think she was in any condition to refuse an ambulance.

smalltownoklahoman | September 11, 2016 at 3:45 pm

The left really isn’t doing Hillary any favors pushing so hard to put her in the White House. If her body is giving out this badly on the campaign trail the stresses of the job should she win will likely do her in. Much as I might like to see her put in an early grave I don’t want the country to go through the turmoil of dealing with a POTUS who kicks the bucket quite likely before her first term is even half done. So please everyone, vote for one of the other candidates, if not for Hillary’s sake (though I imagine most here despise her) then for the sake of the country.

And in August she didn’t do any campaign events. Didn’t visit Louisiana or Mexico or a Detroit church or Chicago school. Just fundraisers. Trump meanwhile has been everywhere and done several rallies a week

Lego Insurrection | September 11, 2016 at 3:51 pm

Sick? Fainting? Seizure? No, no, she was dodging the sniper fire.

What’ya know…

Weebles DO fall down.

Gloating about people’s health is mean-spirited – some would even say deplorable – and even if you weren’t raised to care about those things, plenty of voters were. So I really don’t think Trump gets any milage out of this.

Besides, Hillary dropping out of the race for health problems would likely be a nightmare for Trump. Tim Kaine would be the obvious replacement and he doesn’t have Hillary’s 50%+ unfavorable rating. And Hillary, for all her faults, did run to the right of both Bernie and Barack, so the odds are that any of her replacements would be more to the left.

Neither candidate has released their full medical records this cycle, which is a bad precedent. McCain released over 1000 pages when he ran and Trump’s half page doctors letter was laughable by comparison. If whoever gets elected does have serious medical issues then voters will have only themselves to blame, as usual.

alaskabob in reply to tyates. | September 11, 2016 at 4:43 pm

Hillary could run “right” of Bernie and Barack because the fix was in the the super-delegates this time. Bernie had no chance. As for gloating…. replace that with real FEAR that the fix is in and we are experiencing a slow motion coup.

CountMontyC in reply to tyates. | September 11, 2016 at 4:57 pm

Most states have already printed ballots and it is too late to change the candidates in those states. Hillary’s withdrawal would mean any ballots cast for her would be dead votes and I don’t believe a write in candidacy would be effective in winning states

If the dead can vote why can’t you vote for the dead. One word Carnahan ( I know 99% chance I’ve misspelled it. )

Milhouse in reply to CountMontyC. | September 12, 2016 at 1:45 am

Incorrect. Neither Clinton nor Trump is a candidate for election in any state. The ballots are for “n electors for Clinton and Kaine”, “n electors for Trump and Pence”, etc. Those Democrats who are running for elector, and have promised that if they win they will vote for Clinton and Kaine, would still be on the ballot if she withdraws, and if they win they will vote for whomever the Democratic Party chooses to replace her. Ditto for the Republicans who are running for elector; if they win they will vote for whomever the GOP tells them to, whether or not that is Trump and Pence. So changing candidates is actually easier in a presidential election than in one for any other office.

The legal aspects may be simple, but the practical aspects are not.
Trying to work out the practical aspects in a legal way are even more complex.

I believe in most states the electors for each party are already selected. If Kaine is the candidate ( which I have trouble believing ) how do you guarantee they will be loyal to him? Or Warren?

I don’t think Trump vs “Democratic President 2.0” will work well.

They’ll try. There already are rumors that DNC bigwigs are planning a meeting to decide. But it’s can of worms they would rather not open.

On top of which, will the Berniebots willing to vote for Hillary still willing to vote for Kaine? What about the centrist voter for Warren?

A change at this time would be worse then Eagleton.

I wonder what her version of Dr. Morell is pumping her full of to keep her going?

If I’m not mistaken you vote for electors and not the candidate. I know of no legal reasom the electors couldn’t vote for someone else.

That is quite correct. One Ford elector even voted for Reagan.

But would you vote for an elector when you do not know the candidate?

CountMontyC in reply to RodFC. | September 11, 2016 at 6:07 pm

I believe different states have different laws concerning electors duty to be faithful(looking it up 29 states plus the District of Columbia bind their electors
      http://archive.fairvote.org/?page=967 )
However that was not my main point. I find it unlikely that voters will turn out in large enough numbers to vote for a candidate who has withdrawn to win that state in the hopes that a replacement candidate would win that state unless that state is overwhelmingly in the one candidates party’s favor. Thus California would still vote Democrat but others closer in balance would not

Milhouse in reply to CountMontyC. | September 12, 2016 at 1:50 am

Why wouldn’t they? The same way they would have heard that Clinton withdrew they would also have heard who the new candidate was, and they’re likely to like that person a lot better than they do Clinton. Anyone who intends to vote for Clinton because she’s not Trump, or because she’s the Democrat, will do so even more readily for Kaine. Ditto for those who are voting for Trump because he’s not Clinton, or because he’s the Republican.

Milhouse in reply to CountMontyC. | September 12, 2016 at 2:08 am

In any case, state laws purporting to bind electors are of no legal effect. The state has no authority to tell an elector how to vote, any more than it does to tell a representative or senator how to vote.

In case anyone was wondering, Chelsea Clinton is 36. And she’s a natural born citizen.

i’ve treated my fair share of heat casualties, and her staff was NOT doing what they should have done if she was “overheated”… at the very least they should have taken off her jacket immediately

unless, of course, they were worried about revealing something otherwise hidden under it, such as a drug pump or other medical devise.

her balance was obviously off, and she couldn’t hold herself up.

she’s got something seriously wrong with her, and it’s getting harder to hide.

and her staff was NOT doing what they should have done if she was “overheated”

Most of them—as we see in the video—were paying almost no attention to the “patient”, but were obviously intent on shielding her from view. As the situation deteriorated, and Hillary went from being supported by leaning on the stanchion to actually being carried into the van, they closed up tighter. This couldn’t help anyone to move Hillary, but it could (and did) block more of the view from outside observers.

So … they know exactly what the problem is, they were expecting it and are doubtless expecting it again … but they don’t want us to know what the problem is.

Quick giver her a jar of pickles!

Seriously though, I think it is fine to take joy in this, given that she not only denied being in bad health, but actually ridiculed the people questioning her health.

Now, they’re backing an filling, calling it pneumonia.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/hillary-clinton-has-pneumonia-doctor-says-228012

Doesn’t pneumonia generally occur as a secondary effect of some other illness? For example Parkinson’s?

Ragspierre in reply to RodFC. | September 11, 2016 at 7:02 pm

Pneumonia can result from a bad case of allergies.

It often happens as an opportunistic secondary infection with flu or a cold.

There are several pathogens that cause it, and some of them are endemic in most of us all the time.

If I’m not mistaken, it’s what kills most of us in the end.

Or it could be a case of the plague considering the rats she lives and works with.

Yea, but for allergies to be the cause they must be pretty severe and I haven’t seen any signs of allergies that severe.

Pneumonia is opportunistic, I got it after having a pretty miserable upper respiratory infection. So it usually hits folks that who are already in a weakened state. So yes frequently people who are at end of life are very susceptible to pneumonia.

Usually people of Hillary;d age have been urged to to get what is commonly called a pneumonia shot, which is a vaccine for the most common types of pneumonia, especially if they suffer from allergies.

What is comes right down to is No, healthy people just don’t get pneumonia very often.

Though Pneumonia would explain the “overheated” many times people with pneumonia will have fever spikes but not a constant rise in body temp as with other infections.

Actually you point out something really significant.

Tim Daly even does pneumonia vaccine commercials.

Why didn’t Hillary get her shot. Something very routine.

I once got pneumonia preceeded by a couple of weeks of really hard coughing. I was later told I might have had whooping cough as a first infection.

I have to agree with a previous post. If Hillory collapsing isn’t considered a grave threat to her life, than everyone around her knows the cause and isn’t surprised.

Pneumonia and heat stroke are serious. Whatever happened has been seen before and is chronic.

Yes, and the standard treatment for pneumonia is diazepam and large doses of “antihistamines”.

The media’s excuses for Hillary’s health reminds me of the famous Monty Python scene – the battle with the Black Knight. “It’s just a flesh wound”!

Pneumonia?

Just proves that thousands of internet bloggers are more reliable at diagnosing serious illness than Hillary’s minions.

Her next rally may be from a hospice.

Her being propped up against the concrete pylon and her rolling head movement before her collapse looks like a seizure to me, not pneumonia.

To top that off, they didn’t take her to the hospital after the collapse. An almost 70 year old woman collapses, allegedly from complications of pneumonia, and you take her to a private residence rather than a hospital? Nothing says “we’re lying about what’s really happening” more than doing that.

It’s obvious she never had pneumonia, but if I were her political opponent I would accept her explanation as true and gut her for exposing those children she was hugging to a communicable and potentially lethal disease.

Well I think that at this point we can take anything from her medical team with a grain (aka boulder sized) of salt.

I pray for the SS agents that are helping them out and hope they do not catch “her pneumonia”

The ‘other angle’ video is simply the original video mirrored. Surprising to me how many ‘smart’ people apparently didn’t notice something so blindingly obvious.

RodFC in reply to Daiwa. | September 11, 2016 at 10:37 pm

No. It is not the original video. The second video is taken by someone five to ten feet to the left of the first video. Yes. It is mirrored, something common in these days of mirrored selfies.

In the first video you do not see her spasm, but do see her start to fall towards the ground. In the second video, you see her spasm, but not much of the collapse.

Daiwa in reply to RodFC. | September 12, 2016 at 9:00 am

I disagree. The relationship between the agent closest to the camera (with goatee) and the tree behind him is exactly the same in both videos. Not possible if second vid shot from ‘7 feet to the left’.

Everyone involved in helping her treated the episode as routine.

That’s odd, isn’t it?

If this had happened a day earlier, I could have bought the “overheated” story. Yesterday (Saturday) was really bad; hot, muggy, not a day to be outdoors. But today was a nice day, especially in the morning when this happened. I was outside enjoying the break from the heat. So no, not buying it.

I heard a pair of doctors on the radio talking about it this morning. Both raised good questions.

They commented it sounded more like a low blood pressure issue. They also commented that the secret service is aware of the issue because of the way it was handled.

One other observation was that when low blood pressure is an issue, the patient would be typically instructed to lie down, but in her case, that would be bad optics and end her presidential run.

I’m rather amused at the Dr.’s surname, Bardack.
If you’ll pardon me for pointing out that in Hebrew slang it means a mess.

Hillary is much better,

She is off Coumadin and she’s on Humadin.

The video is mirrored, for some reason, it’s not a second angle. The van enters from the left of the frame in the original (also the right side of the street), but from the right side in the mirrored version. If they were two angles on the same scene, the van would enter from the same side of the frame in both cases.

This may turn out to be the Zapruder film of this campaign.
