REPORTS: Trump-Pence Ticket it is!

The wait is over

Though the official announcement is not scheduled until tomorrow morning, Roll Call reports Donald Trump has selected Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his running mate.

Donald Trump is planning to announce that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is his choice for his vice presidential running mate, according to a Republican with direct knowledge of the decision.

As Trump narrowed in on his choice of Pence, the two men spent time at both Trump’s golf resort in New Jersey in early July and at the Indiana governor’s mansion this week.

In addition to testing the men’s chemistry together, Trump was reportedly impressed with Pence’s calm demeanor, his experience on Capitol Hill and as a governor, and Pence’s potential to assist Trump in governing, should the ticket win in November.

The announcement will be made publicly at an event at Trump Tower at 11 a.m. Friday morning.

I can live with that. I mean, anything is better than Christie.

OK. So, Trumptanic is taking Pence for a voyage.

Pence/Trump 2016 I’m in!

That, like, totally changed my mind.

Expected HuffPo headline, “Two white guys exercising their White Privilege”

Maybe it is, but keep in mind Trump likes to be unpredictable. It would be just like him to leak news that then is false so that he gets headlines.

Absolutely true although I would make one small change: “so that he gets (MORE) headlines”. Look how many he’s getting already. The media will all write about it again tomorrow either to say they were right or scrambling to write a new column about a different choice. Either way he wins.

This is an opening for Hillary to go all in on culture war bullshit.

Didn’t Pence try to support that small business that got bullied by Apple and most of the USA’s big corporations because somebody who wasn’t the owner didn’t want to cater a gay wedding?

I live here in Hoosierland, and I don’t seem to recall him weighing in at all over the pizzeria who was asked a hypothetical question by an activist reporterette.

Perhaps I missed his comments on the topic

The rumor must be true because the hit pieces on Pence are coming out already – from the right, of course. Four Statist Policies Gov. Mike Pence Champions by Joy Pullmann in The Federalist.

As governor of Indiana, Mike Pence has switched his leadership style and political philosophy from government skeptic to technocratic Progressive.

Well. Good fit, then…

I wouldn’t necessarily say “The wait is over”. It will be over tomorrow at 11am.

The wait may not be over. People are denying Pence is a done deal.

Mike Pence seems like a good choice. According to Wikipedia, he’s a long time supporter of the TEA Party Movement. Hope that’s true.

Excellent pick. Now on to burying Clinton in November.

Now that Trump has found the Nice, France terrorism to be a good fake reason to not announce his Veep pick, he leaves Mike Pence twisting in the wind with a 12:00 noon Friday deadline to withdraw from the Indiana Governor’s race. So we will know at noon tomorrow whether the pick is or is not Pence because Pence cannot be Veep unless he withdraws from the Indiana election. So Trump’s juvenile, idiotic behavior (such as this unnecessary delay) continues in good times so we can expect really bizarre behavior should the pressure of the presidency descend on the Trumpster.

First things first – I will not vote for a known crazy man. Neither I nor the NeverTrumpers caused the Trump problem nor did 58% of Republican primary voters. Actions of the unreasoning Trump Trolls will return the White House to the Dems again. So the primary system needs an overhaul to ensure that only state Republican residents get to pick their candidate.

“Now that Trump has found the Nice, France terrorism to be a good fake reason to not announce his Veep pick, he leaves Mike Pence twisting in the wind with a 12:00 noon Friday deadline to withdraw from the Indiana Governor’s race.”

I’d call you a moron but it would be insulting to genuine morons. You are lower in than gnat shit.

Anyone that does not understand the decision to postpone the announcement after a murderous terror attack is the lowest of the low.

And Pence was not “twisting in the wind” you sub gnat shit idiot. He already knew he was the choice.

You nevertrumpers have been proven the lowest class of humans possible.
