British PM Theresa May Dominates Jeremy Corbyn

British PM Theresa May Dominates Jeremy Corbyn

The new Iron Lady!

It looks like British Prime Minister Theresa May has become the next Margaret Thatcher as she dominated her first Prime Minister’s Questions (PMQs). She said:

You refer to me as the second woman Prime Minister, in my years here in this House I’ve long heard the Labour Party asking what the Conservative Party does for women – well, just keep making us Prime Minister.

Then she railed against Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Corbyn asked May about her position on those with insecure jobs, “pointing to planned trade union curbs and the use of so-called zero-hours contracts.” She used it to show the parallels to those people with those in the Labour Party due to infighting:

She said “I suspect there are many members on the Opposition benches who might be familiar with an unscrupulous boss; a boss who doesn’t listen to his workers; a boss who requires some of his workers to double their workload; and maybe even a boss who exploits the rules to further his own career.”

Leaning forward and fixing Mr Corbyn with a direct stare, she added: “Remind him of anybody?”

Wow.

In The Telegraph, John McTernan said:

Why did this work? Partly because it was a little unexpected – Theresa May has been known for directness rather than humour. But mostly because it was done sincerely – it aimed to hurt and it succeeded.

Both [former Prime Minister David] Cameron and [former chancellor George] Osborne had a little too much smirking superiority in the Commons. Not our new PM – superiority is just fine for her. She will make Corbyn pay at the despatch box – if the Labour Party are stupid enough to re-elect him.

The Labour Party erupted against Corbyn after the UK voted to leave the European Union. They passed a no confidence vote against Corbyn 172-40 on June 28. People inside the party felt Corbyn and his office hampered the party’s campaign to keep Britain in the European Union.

Former Prime Minister David Cameron even told Corbyn to leave during one of his last PMQs:

“It might be my party’s interest for him to sit there, it’s not in the national interest and I would say, for heaven’s sake, man, go!” he said at the House of Commons.

I look forward to President trump starting this tradition Perhaps he can send his Press Secretary, Newt Gingrich, instead .

Awesome!

She was great, but i’d like to know just how spontaneous these sessions really are. Corbyn seemed to be reading from notes–was May equally prepared?

At the PMQ, the PM does not know what will be asked, and the regular MPs can bring whatever they want to the session. So in all probability, Corbyn prepared for the question, but not the answer.

I’m not a fan. Yes, she owned Jeremy Corbin. But when she headed the Home Office she a great deal of harm to Britain.

There are over 100 Sharia law courts operating in Great Britain. Theresa May is a big fan of Sharia law, and of the Islamization of Britain in general. When it became clear that these Sharia courts had way overstepped their bounds she had to do something. You see, she and her Muslim friends had lied to the Britons. She had told them that Sharia courts would only have jurisdiction over family law matters, not criminal matters. Giving them jurisdiction over family law matters was bad enough given the fact that women are so inferior to men in Islam (men can have four wives, women can’t have four husbands, a woman’s testimony is worth half that of a man’s, hence the fact that women who are raped are victimized twice under Sharia law, first by the rapists and then by the courts which sentence them to be stoned to death, etc., etc.).

When in fact the word got out these Sharia courts were in fact deciding criminal cases, specifically domestic violence cases, Britons got upset over Theresa May’s deception. She had to do something. Or, rather, appear to do something. So she set up a commission to investigate, but the the fix was in. She made sure the Islamist presence on the commission outweighed the non-Islamist influence.

This was, again, Theresa May’s doing as head of the Home Office. Apparently she’s as big a fan of illegal immigration as Barack Obama. Frankly, I see a great deal of parallels between not only her and Obama, but also Clinton.

In short, she is no Margaret Thatcher. I’m afraid Great Britain is no longer capable of producing another Iron Lady. At least not the the Tories, the Conservatives, let alone Labour.
