The Sanders v. Clinton fight gets no relief
If there is a backup plan should Clinton be indicted, it won’t include Michael Bloomberg. New York City’s former Mayor announcement Monday he would not run for President.

CNBC reports:
“Over the last several months, many Americans have urged me to run for president as an independent, and some who don’t like the current candidates have said it is my patriotic duty to do so,” he wrote in the Bloomberg View op-ed, later adding that “when I look at the data, it’s clear to me that if I entered the race, I could not win. I believe I could win a number of diverse states — but not enough to win the 270 Electoral College votes necessary to win the presidency.”
The billionaire businessman had publicly toyed with the idea of leading a third-party campaign, telling the Financial Times in February that he was “looking at all the options” for a potential White House bid.

He wasn’t pulling any votes from Ted Cruz, so I was all for having him run …
Any other socialist-lite big nanny state billionaire self-funding 3rd party tilt-at-windmills but attractive to the “reasonable” smart set of the bi-coastal elites we can convince to waste a $100 million and splinter the democratic vote?
Maybe we need to look to Silicon Valley instead of Manhattan for the NPR-loving “smart set” savior ?

Bloomberg could have spent his entire fortune on this election and not won a single electoral vote. That, in the end, was the deciding factor.
This probably means that Bloomberg has been assured by the White House that there will be no Hillary indictment no matter what; therefore there will be no after-Hillary hole in the Dem lineup for him to fill.
Obviously, this assumes that any “third party” talk is just a smokescreen.
The media whore got all of the “let’s talk about me” he could and called it a day before it cost him any coin.
