So, today Cruz could close the gap; maybe even become front runner.

This post is titled Live Updates and Results, and says “Welcome to our live primary and caucus updates. Refresh your browser often for the latest news,” yet it’s after 9pm EST, I can see from other sites which are actually doing “Live Updates and Results” that two out of four states have already been called for Trump… yet unless there’s something buggy with my internet/caching, this post has not been updated even once yet?

It’s okay if y’all don’t want to actually do live updates, but it looks weird to say you’re going to, and then not do it.

AP explains what happened to boost Trump…

“Kasich and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio used recorded phone calls from Mitt Romney to appeal to voters as they headed to the polls.”

Since for some inexplicable reason new thread was started, let me repost some things.

When will Boogerman and foam boy make their victory speeches.
Bernie kicking a little ass in Michigan!

Gretchen, stop trying to make “Boogerman” happen. It’s not going to happen.

#Anti-Trump campaign FAIL!

Maybe have Romney make some more phone calls.

On the day of Romney’s finger-wagging admonishment of the wayward voters, I made the suggestion that the party bosses are pulling a double-reverse on the electorate: Trump has been bought by the GOPe, and he’s actually their boy. I can’t think of any better evidence than R-Money doubling down and doing robocalls for not one, but two of his opponents.

Trump is the establishment is Trump. That’s the game, and I’m surprised nobody has said so yet.

point of orfer: it’s spelled “Hawaii”, no apostrophes needed.

this affectation is pure PC garbage, and has no place on a blog like this one.

Well, to be truly pedantic, “Hawaii” in olelo Hawaiʻi is spelled with an okina, not an apostrophe (i.e, Hawaiʻi), but “Hawaiian” is a purely English word (-ian being a completely foreign plural to olelo Hawaiʻi).

If you really want to sound like a PC idiot with pretentious affectations, put a glottal stop in “Hawaiian”. Even worse, pronounce the “w” like a “v” to sound even more ethnic on top of the glottal stop.

Actual as I understand it there is no written Hawaiian language.
It’s an Anglicization, so anyway you spel iot is effectively correct.

Now we’re writing in English here. We use our own words for places or ought to just like every other country in the world.

A real conservative would call them the Sandwich Islands.

I missed Marco’s post election victory speech. What did he say about his inspiring 4th place victories?

HandyGandy in reply to rotten. | March 8, 2016 at 11:47 pm

I think he outlined his new strategy. It sounded something like “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”.

Marcofizzle.

Ted Cruz at it again.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/03/08/rubio-camp-accuses-cruz-dirty-tricks-over-hawaii-dropout-email.html

On OAN just now, They just showed the website/emails that tedcruzhawaii.org was sending out. They looked like official Marco Rubio communications! That means that throwing CNN under the bus for bad reporting doesn’t hold up.

This is another dirty trick.

Why is your feed constantly re-updating that stupid Hillary tweet about ‘most votes!’.

I mean at it’s most basic level, it’s nonsensical because different states have voted.

Then when you actually look at the numbers, it’s REALLY BAD for Hillary to call attention to them.

Off the top of my head Colorado and Nebraska have done Dem but not Rep, and Alaska and Idaho have gone Rep but not Dem. That’s a difference in population of 7.1 million for Col/Neb vs 2.4 million for Alaska/Idaho.

Add that to the fact that Trump is in a 4+ person race.

So, the winner in a 2 person race has barely more votes than the current leader in a contested 4+ person race who has had nearly 5 million less potential voters.

This is supposed to be good for Hillary how, exactly?

Well it is late. Everybody is calling Hawaii for except Drudge. Maybe he went to bed.

Looks like a night of Kauai ing for Cruz. Sorry I couldn’t resist, even though I used the joke in another thread and even then I stole it from someone else.

I expected Michigan and Mississippi but was pleasantly surprised by Hawaii, even though Trump was ahead in some polls.

Today he got 15% more delegates then he needed to keep pace. It won’t be long till this race is over.

Once again Cruz got caught telling people that someone was dropping out.

Looks like the long and tiring struggle will be over soon.

Good night all.

If you vote for Trump or Hillary you ARE the Establishment. All of the pretense doesn’t change that.

The use of “The Establishment” is a ruse meant to coalesce anger and not critical thinking – anger as just plain ole everyday TV-Guided pundit-pushed discontent.

Just the other day I heard Rush say something to the effect that “The Establishment” wanted Trump to move left on several issues to gain crossover democrat voters. And then Rush said that “The Establishment” hated that Trump had done so, so they wanted him out. Rush didn’t offer any proof of that. It seemed to be only conjecture. Or, maybe he rolled out the proof later. I feel like I am being played for a fool when I hear “The Establishment.”

“The Establishment” used with spite is a TV/radio incitement to generate more voters on the Republican side than on the Big G Democrat side. Ask yourself. Who is using the phrase?

There are many who like to paint someone or a group as “The Establishment.” But then they will promote Trump, another personification of established big bloated governance. Oh, but this time “The Establishment” is dressed in a reality TV persona, a persona that is foisted as anti- “The Establishment.”

Anyone who votes for the same big government answers to their anger becomes what they decry – “The Establishment.” Look no further than your remote.

Two words that have been beaten to death: establishment and conservative. RIP. All lines have been blurred in this election, all bets are off.

Rut Row..

Cruz bringing in big guns in Florida. Carly Fiorina !!

LOL

Put the two most annoying sounding voices together on one stage. Guaranteed success. LMAO.

So, will Marco vacate his quest for the big chair before the Florida primary or after the Florida primary and leave the field?

He is on a path to total embarrassment for his $$$ benefactors, The Mighty GOP Donor Class.

randian in reply to VotingFemale. | March 9, 2016 at 12:06 pm

I assume Marco is going to help said benefactors in their “anybody but Trump” plan to help elect Hillary. Ergo, he’s going to stay on to take as many delegates as he can in case Trump doesn’t get the required majority, in which case he’ll direct his delegates to whomever said benefactors want.

Trump will win the election.
….me thinks hillary is now starting to get nervous.
she knows she can’t beat him.

she’d love to run against Ted Cruz or Rubio ….those two are sure to lose to her. and she was really hoping for Jeb bush… but he dropped out.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoAmll3ViQA ahhh delicious liberals tears… the left don’t fear Cruz at all but they fear Trump. …the left going into full meltdown on Trump is the best!
