Hillary email scandal moves into flip flip flip phase

Hillary email scandal moves into flip flip flip phase

Immunity given to key State computer specialist, expect others to flip as well.

Several months ago, Kemberlee predicted that getting a State Department employee to flip on Hillary would be the key, Some dare say conspiracy: Who will be first Hillary aide to flip on her?:

Was there a concerted conspiracy to violate the law, particularly given the fact that Clinton opted for a private email on her person server? Who else knew classified information was being transmitted outside of government purview?

If any of these suspicions are confirmed throughout the course of the FBI’s investigation, will aides then be offered legal concessions if they cooperate?

What were once Clinton’s closest lackeys may end up being her downfall.

And that appears to be the FBI’s plan, flip a key witness, then roll up others all around Hillary.

The Washington Post reports, Justice Dept. grants immunity to staffer who set up Clinton email server:

The Justice Department has granted immunity to the former State Department staffer who worked on Hillary Clinton’s private email server as part of a criminal investigation into the possible mishandling of classified information, according to a senior law enforcement official.

The official said the FBI had secured the cooperation of Bryan Pagliano, who worked on Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign before setting up the server in her New York home in 2009.

As the FBI looks to wrap up its investigation in the coming months, agents will likely want to interview Clinton and her senior aides about the decision to use a private server, how it was set up, and whether any of the participants knew they were sending classified information in emails, current and former officials said.

The NY Times further reports the FBI may be interviewing Hillary within weeks. Failure to cooperate would be political death for her campaign:

Foremost among a half-dozen inquiries and legal proceedings into whether classified information was sent through Mrs. Clinton’s server is an investigation by the F.B.I., whose agents, according to one law enforcement official, could seek to question Mrs. Clinton’s closest aides and possibly the candidate herself within weeks.

It is commonplace for the F.B.I. to try to interview key figures before closing an investigation, and doing so is not an indication the bureau thinks a person broke the law. Although defense lawyers often discourage their clients from giving such interviews, Democrats fear the refusal of Mrs. Clinton or her top aides to cooperate would be ready ammunition for Donald J. Trump, the Republican front-runner.

A federal law enforcement official said that barring any unforeseen changes, the F.B.I. investigation could conclude by early May. Then the Justice Department will decide whether to file criminal charges and, if so, against whom.

As I said earlier, Bernie Sanders just needs to hang on long enough, Bernie playing to box out other candidates after Hillary indicted.

Until Huma flips. Then it’s all over.

I LIKE the way you think…!!!

And, yep, that’s how its done. Flip, flip, flip works collaterally with DRIP, DRIP, DRIP…!!!

It is rather concomitant at that, now that you mention it. tee-hee

Hillary will never be indicted BUT someone will have to go to jail. The has drug out so long that they cannot get by sacrificing some low level drone. Someone high in the organization and perhaps multiple someones are going to do time. (not just probation)

And then comes the promise of a pardon for HRC dropping out of the race and pledging her delegates to Joe/Liz and down goes Trump.

thats a good one, Joe Biden … Trump would beat Biden like a rented mule …

while i believe trump would win, ‘slo’ joe is a VERY likable pol,
Trump would have to show that 4 more years of the same would continue the downward slide of our nation.

doable, but not an easy task with the la,la,la low information dem voters.

Then the Justice Department will decide whether to file criminal charges and, if so, against whom.

#NeverHillary

They’ll throw some poor no name under the bus for what they did to poor, innocent Hillary!

(I know, I just used the words ‘poor’, ‘innocent’ and ‘Hillary’ in the same sentence.) 😀

Wait – DoJ granted immunity? That can’t be. They were only investigating the security of the server. There was never the slightest hint that anyone actually did anything wrong! (I know this is true because Hillary said so)

I thought this was merely an “inquiry.” Could it p-o-s-s-i-b-l-y be a “criminal investigation?”

You mean that the FBI is going to start at the bottom of the chain and work it’s way to the top by using immunity and plea deals? If they had only watched some of the old 60’s cop shows that used to be on TV they could have started this “New” technique a lot sooner!

A housemaid brought down Leona Helmsley aka The Queen Of Mean.

Perhaps the IT guy in charge of setting up her server will be a pitiless flip. That flip did happen today.

None of this is going to make much difference if a pack of traitorous Republican loons throws the election to the Democrats to “stop Trump”.

Are you running a fever? Of course it matters if Hillary Clinton is indicted quite independently of what the Republicans do.

It’s delusional to say what you just said. You might as well say that nothing that happens on the Democratic side matters. All is lost unless all opposition to Trump ends.

Hillary can go to prison, and Bernie Sanders can crap all over himself when he runs out of Depends (TM) underwear on the campaign trail, and spit his dentures out into the crowd when he’s bellowing about how children live in poverty because we have too many brands of deodorant and the Republicans will still lose to the peeing, drooling antique Leninist because … Trump!

As I have noted before, Huma had best stay away from Ft. Marcy park.

I’ve had to remind people that I know, who say Hillary has beaten every one of the scandals that have come her way, that Hillary has never actually been individually investigated for criminal charges has she?
She was certainly involved but never the main target, right?
This is different, this isn’t Arkansas and the FBI is not the Arkansas State Police.
I’m also thinking that Mr. Pagliano should get a carry permit and start packing heat. I’m serious too.
While I claim to be at the front of the line of people who want Hillary to go to trial, be found guilty, and spend 10 – 20 years in jail, I would be very surprised if she is even indicted. It is an accumulation of all the fawning sycophant adulation she has received, all the Serpent Head hissing about $10, trailer parks and nothing-burgers, all of the cover ups and non-answers and non accountability. Then there is the fact that Obama can and will pardon her for any crimes she may have committed during her many many years of selfless, faithful, and dedicated service to mankind.
Sigh…..
BTW if Obama pardons her or if the DOJ just can’t seem to find anything to charge her with, it will be the final sign to the country that there are people in this country who are above the law.

MeStillThinks… some who was close to someone in Benghazi (the ambassador or a br SEAL) is in the mix pushing it. Not so much a vast right wing conspiracy, but one bent on actual justice.

Other sources have pointed out that Patrick Kennedy and the likes are Teflon for any and all scandals. For this to gain this much traction is curious.

Based on the lack of results from Lois Lerner’s IRS targeting- I’m cautiously optimistic.

So, the timeline of this is perfect with indicting her after the primaries but before the nominating convention. Keep in mind that the delegates will be people chosen by the candidate. Who do you think Hillary will choose? My guess is about 95% of them will radical feminists who are determined to nominate a woman no matter what, so there is zero chance of a Bernie Sanders nomination. No, what is far more likely is that these women choose a non-vetted candidate that will pull energize blacks and enable them to nominate a woman: Michelle Obama.

Common Sense | March 3, 2016 at 8:31 am

Orange pants suit will be a great look for Hillary! 🙂

The campaign says they are pleased that Mr.Bryan Pagliano is
talking to the FBI! OK? Does anyone believe that?

Isn’t this all just a vast right wing conspiracy? She just received a lot of votes on Tuesday so a lot of people must believe (I almost used the word “think”) that.

Hope he has a double indemnity policy that covers accidentally on purpose double tap suicide to the back of the head

If he’s not careful, Mr. Pagliano just might fall off his hoverboard and hit his head on a bullet or two. Always wear a helmet!

What criminality is Mr. Pagliano being granted immunity from? Setting up and maintaining a server isn’t criminal, and there is not (definitively, yet) any hint that he knew what was on the server.

I’ve read where there was failure to disclose payments made to him for this service. Did he not include them on his tax returns? Did the IRS tip off the FBI about this and that this is now why he needs immunity?

People seem to be missing a key element. Classified data is kept on secure networks. Secure networks don’t have connections to insecure networks (like the Internet).
People didn’t just forward secure documents from the secure systems, they copied the information off and moved it to the private server.
Setting up a private server was stupid.
Deliberately moving information from the secure systems to an unsecured system was criminal.

DaveGinOly in reply to JWGJ. | March 3, 2016 at 8:50 pm

Hillary has made much of the “fact” that she didn’t transmit, receive, or store any material marked classified at the time of her tenure at State. This is simply not credible. She knew, or should have known, that in the course of her business as SoS, she would have necessarily transmitted, received, and stored classified information, and because she was using no other e-mail address and server than her own, that information must have been routed through and stored on an unsecure system. And after leaving the office, she must have known that some of the information she was storing unsecurely would become classified. This was all predictable and unavoidable. It’s simply not believable that she didn’t know that she must have been breaking several laws concerning classified information. If she didn’t know, she’s too stupid to ever again hold an office of public trust. And we all know she’s not stupid. She’s in this mess because she’s Hillary, and that means she’s “special” and she expects to get away with her illegal acts.

Nothing will happen unless Hillary loses the nomination. Then she’ll plead to a reduced charge and be given a slap on the wrist. If she wins the nomination, the investigation will conclude what she did was inappropriate but not worthy of charges.

I don’t know why Clintons criminal culpability is even in question or really ever was … One of the charges that could be filed was she endangered secure or secret information threw negligence …. Didn’t a serb hack her non secure system … Why yes he did …. Slam dunk it seems

BrokeGopher | March 3, 2016 at 6:35 pm

I worry that this guy, now that he’s immune, could take the blame for all of it. Yep, I did it. Hillary knew nothing – it was all me!

Arminius in reply to BrokeGopher. | March 4, 2016 at 10:04 pm

I’m just guessing that someone at the FBI thought of that and, desiring to preserve something remotely resembling a professional reputation, the Bureau found out what this guy had to say before giving him immunity.

As opposed to shouting, “F*** it” and jumping off a cliff.

Hannity says there has to be a sitting Grand Jury awaiting testimony in order for a Judge to grant immunity, or there would be no reason to do so.
I am wondering how many people can be included in an indictment. Can it be several, or will there need to be seperate indictments for each?
I would think the latter.
Can one Grand Jury generate multiple indictments?

Is it possible to grant a pardon to someone who is not guilty of wrongdoing? I can see making someone immune from prosecution, because that doesn’t speak to guilt or innocence. But if you haven’t done anything wrong, there’s nothing to pardon.

If Obama grants Hil a pardon, wouldn’t that demonstrate guilt? And, if it does, and Hil wants to maintain her innocence, can she refuse a pardon?

Comments?
