State Department Subpoenaed Clinton Foundation Last Fall

State Department Subpoenaed Clinton Foundation Last Fall

The plot thickens

I would not want to be Hillary Clinton this week (or any week for that matter). First, she’s trounced by more than 20 points in New Hampshire’s primary, then it’s revealed that at least a dozen email accounts tossed top secret classified intel around her home-brewed email server, and now the Washington Post dished out this little scoop in all its glory.

Whether the intel leaker is part of Team Hillary or the State Department, the WaPo does not make clear.

Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea all received subpoenas from State Department investigators last fall requesting Clinton Foundation documents, “that may have required approval from the federal government during Hillary Clinton’s term as secretary of state.”

Tom Hamburger and Rosalind S. Helderman report:

Investigators with the State Department issued a subpoena to the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation last fall seeking documents about the charity’s projects that may have required approval from the federal government during Hillary Clinton’s term as secretary of state, according to people familiar with the subpoena and written correspondence about it.

The subpoena also asked for records related to Huma Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide who for six months in 2012 was employed simultaneously by the State Department, the foundation, Clinton’s personal office, and a private consulting firm with ties to the Clintons.

The full scope and status of the inquiry, conducted by the State Department’s inspector general, were not clear from the material correspondence reviewed by The Washington Post.

A foundation representative, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing inquiry, said the initial document request had been narrowed by investigators and that the foundation is not the focus of the probe.

A State IG spokesman declined to comment on that assessment or on the subpoena.

Representatives for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and Abedin also declined comment.

There is no indication that the watchdog is looking at Clinton. But as she runs for president in part by promoting her leadership of the State Department, an inquiry involving a top aide and the relationship between her agency and her family’s charity could further complicate her campaign.

Oh come on, this HAS to be just another Republican hit job against the Clinton family. The right wing conspiracy continues to wage war against Bill and Hill. I’m sure this will be the last controversy that involves the Clinton family and the nation can move forward with her election.

Clintons? Party of three. Your cells are ready.

Everyone associated with the Clinton foundation has been subpoenaed but we should not think that any of these people is actually being investigated. JUST the foundation itself and its relationship with the state department and with Huma.

I look forward to the WaPo headline saying the Clinton Foundation has been indicted for influence peddling but that Hillary is not implicated.

The Clintons and their criminal antics make the Kennedys (and their bootlegging Pa) look like rookies.

Yeah, well at least when JFK sexually abused teenage girls in the White House he shared with his biggest campaign donors.

The Chelsea video was funny, such transparency.
Anyone know what her salary is and how much her perks (like 1st class travel when not in a private jet, luxury hotels suites etc)are worth?
The follow up video of hitlery saying she wants to get secret unaccountable money out of politics was even more humorous.

Chelsea forgot to mention that the CF gives nearly 11% of the money it collects to charities, or other organizations (many of which employ friends and cronies, but that’s purely coincidental).

At least 30 foreign companies and two countries had applications gathering dust at State, donated to CF, and had their approvals immediately fast-tracked. Not one who donated was turned down.

So far, only Swiss bank UBS is known to the public, as well as Sweden and Algeria, so there are many details yet to come out.

Would the Republicans be dumb enough to forge ahead with a candidate under federal investigation for serious felonies involving national security? I’d like to think even the dumb party would not be so dumb. Of course, the media would make it much easier to boot such a Republican out of the race.

A Republican doesn’t even have to have done anything wrong to get indicted — or even convicted. See: Ted Stevens.

Hillary for President

A Candidate with Convictions.

Oh, please. We all know that there are different rules for the elite class. A simple “what difference does it make?” and the Clinton clan continues unmolested.

In my opinion, THIS is the smoking gun people…!! Hillary will WALK on Benghazi and probably WALK on her mishandling of sensitive emails which put our national security in peril….BUT, the sweet DEALS she made for herself while serving as Secretary of State will soon be exposed..! My guess is that PAY TO PLAY is Hillary and Bill Clinton’s mantra for their international money laundering scheme known as THE CLINTON FOUNDATION….!!!

That poor girl has had to defend her parents actions for her entire life knowing full well they are crooks. So sad…
