Hillary plays the Obama Card on Bernie in race for black vote

Anointing herself guardian of Obama legacy, Hillary implies Bernie is hostile to blacks.

For months now, we’ve been told that the black community of South Carolina is Hillary Clinton’s firewall to retain her front runner status but after Sanders’ sizable New Hampshire win, she’s not taking any chances.

Perhaps encouraged by New Hampshire, Sanders is now aggressively going after the black vote.

Rebecca Savransky of The Hill:

Sanders touts agenda to attract black voters

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said on Sunday that black voters should choose him over rival Hillary Clinton because he is focusing on an agenda “that works for all Americans.”

“But especially for those who were hardest hurt, hardest hit economically,” he said on”Fox News Sunday.”

Sanders outlined his agenda, which includes raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour over the next several years, achieving pay equity for women, creation millions of decent-paying jobs and rebuilding the “crumbling infrastructure.”

“We are talking about focusing on the outrageously high rate of youth unemployment in the African American community. We are talking about having the United States join the rest of the industrialized world guaranteeing healthcare for all, making tuition at public colleges and universities free so all of our kids regardless of income can get the higher education,” he said.

Sanders is also running ads about the Civil Rights movement. A CNN panel discussed the ad yesterday:

During the last Democratic debate, Hillary positioned herself as the champion of Obama’s legacy and questioned Bernie’s commitment to Obama. It was a political tactic and it seems to have worked.

The Times of Israel reports:

Black Democrats question Sanders’ commitment to Obama

Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign enlisted the support of black Democrats on Friday to undermine Bernie Sanders’ push to claim a piece of President Barack Obama’s legacy, arguing she is the rightful heir to the nation’s first black president.

Clinton sought solidarity with Obama at every turn during Thursday’s debate in Milwaukee, referring to herself as a “staunch supporter” of his health care law and praising him as a role model on race relations. Clinton ended the debate by criticizing Sanders for saying in an interview with MSNBC that Obama had failed the “presidential leadership test.”

By Friday, as Clinton traveled to a black community in South Carolina, her African-American allies in Congress seized upon comments the Vermont senator made at the debate insinuating that race relations would “absolutely” be better under a future Sanders administration.

If you’ve forgotten how often Hillary mentioned Obama during the debate, just watch this:

Bernie freely choose to swim in the cesspool called the Democrat party. No sympathy from my quarter.

I can’t think of a clearer sign of desperation than for any Deemocrat to be running TOWARD Obama. He’s gutted their party all over the U.S.

Ah, well…

It’s not “systemic racism” that keeps unqualified black borrowers from getting loans; it’s poor credit ratings. Those poor credit ratings are caused by a lot of things, some within the person’s control, and some not. One of the things that prevents some blacks from getting bank loans is the fact that they can’t get jobs, mainly due to idiotic government policies that make it cheaper for U.S. employers to hire foreigners (legal and illegal).

The last time a Clinton decided to “fix” the (non-existent) “systemic racism” in our banking system was when Bill Clinton expanded the CRA and started requiring banks to make lots more sub-prime loans to unqualified borrowers. That eventually led to the mortgage melt-down and the economic crisis of 2008, which caused substantial long-term damage to our economy, which we still haven’t recovered from.

Does Hillary Clinton really want to go there again?

Does she want to go there again? Go somewhere that might have devastating consequences on our economy and security? If it helps get her elected the answer is “yes”.

We’re already “going there” again. And we can thank the Obama “Justice” Department.

I was always mystified by the allegation that bankers don’t want to take mortgage interest payments if the money is paid by black people.

Yes, the notion that banks won’t give mortgage loans to black (or hispanic) borrowers because of “systemic racism” is utter nonsense. Banks don’t give a damn about any color other than green. They want to make money, not lose it. That’s the basis they use for deciding which loan applications get approved, and which do not.

It’s a matter of economics — which is probably why dumbass lefties like Sanders and Hillary can’t comprehend it.

And I thought the Democrat party had moved away from the “Oppose us and you’re racist” screed they have been using so hard over the last decade and were trying to move more toward “Oppose us and you’re sexist” with Hillary. Guess I was wrong.

…and the river card is… ”Go Directly to Jail. Do Not Pass Go. Do Not Collect $200.”

Pfftt. She’ll say something entirely opposite before the end of the week. Only Huma knows if what came out of Hillary’s mouth in the afternoon even remotely resembled what was poured into her head at breakfast that morning.

Come on–everyone knows “(she) ain’t tarrrrrred!”– she was the first black first lady, y’know!
