This is too simplistic. Anyone who wants any type of government at all has to support at least some taxation. Even the founding fathers were alright with taxation so long as they had a say in how it was spent.

Seriously. Too simplistic. I guess they don’t have Bumper Stickers in your neighborhood?

My only bumper sticker is the symbol of equality. My bumper sticker is not simplistic, it is just simple.

Okay then, to use your logic,

Anyone who wants any type of government at all has to support at least some taxation inequality.

Or do you think young children should be allowed to work in coal mines, and that convicted serial pedophiles should be allowed to run day-care centers, and that everyone should earn the same government-set wage no matter how skilled they are or how hard they work? Equality, baby!

Your bumper sticker is not just simplistic but wrong.

Oh, aren’t you precious. Bless your heart.

I just love it when a Southern person says “Bless your heart”.
Also, “That’s just the way we roll” has its place when dealing with typically supercilious liberals.

The difference between Death and Taxes is that Death does not get worse everytime there is a Democrat in the White House!

Any government needs some form of revenue. Taxes are not the only way to get it.

Amen. Before the 16th Am. enabled fedgov to directly attack individual Americans, citizens had the states acting as their defenders versus fedgov. With the 16th Am. fedgov has used that with a vengeance, from the income tax, gas taxes, communication taxes, and now Obamacare taxes.

And to your point of revenue, prior to the 16th Am. fedgov subsisted largely through tariffs. This had a double advantage: foreigners paid and with limited revenue fedgov itself was limited. Since 1913 the federal gov. has grown enormously.

It’s simple but not simplistic. If you elect Dems you will have significantly higher taxes and lots more corruption and graft.
Amy, probaby ANOny is referring to the blue bumper with the yellow equal sign. It’s the one that means “I support imposition of gay marriage by judges over the expressed views of the People as evidenced by state-wide elections on the issue.”

Oh, okay. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that one.

We have gay marriage in my county; except for the direct participants and their families, I didn’t think anyone cared very much about that sort of thing anymore. It’s more of a scandal when a prominent local footballer comes out as a born-again Christian than as a homosexual, these days.

It isn’t taxes, per se, that’s the problem. The problem is the dems want more, and more, and more taxes. They never get enough, because there is never enough for them.

It would be more accurate to turn the word TAXES vertical and use an art font to make TAXES in the shape of an arrow.
