Mitch Daniels moved Indiana to the right, passed union reform, shrunk government, increased freedom, did healthcare reform with HSAs that shrunk government healthcare spending while improving outcomes.

Let’s compare Pence, with his “no defining issue”.

– Common Core: he supports it, and after the backlash, supports it repackaged under another name. He literally does not understand the issue, and trusts his big government advisors who are drooling over having such a useless idiot in office

– Medicaid Expansion. Nuff said, you financially illiterate idiot, Pence. Sign on for Obamacare provisions, and put up no fight.

– Government Economy Oversight – pushes all kinds of state boards for economic sectors that are just deadweight, crony capitalist spending. One can assume as president he would think the Japanese-style support for businesses through lavish subsidies would make sense for creating jobs. He is an economic idiot or cynical liar.

– Nanny State Big Government type – he is pushing the fully funded government pre-school that republicans in the rest of the country are fighting.

Pence has a super majority in his legislature and can accomplish anything he wants. Not only has he failed with a defining issue, the issues that define him are the worst big government RINO statist policies in a deeply red state on the heels of a governor who for 8 years pushed the state in the other direction.

Republicans are the party of stupid. I give you Mike Pence, Exhibit A. He makes me want to vomit, that in an all red state, not only is he not moving if father to the right, he is undoing what Mitch Daniels did.

Barf. Why do conservatives support this schmuck?

I hope Obama anoints Warren as well. Empty chair endorsement meet empty pedestal.

The Warren who could win the nomination could never make it in a general election. If Obama had stated his objectives clearly in 2008, he could not have won. He played the post-partisan-no-more-business-as-usual candidate and fooled a lot of people.

She makes George McGovern look like a moderate.

People are living longer all the time. Reagan was more robust than Carter – and probably Mondale, too.

Times often don’t allow people too many chances. Mario Cuomo could have had the Democrats’ nod in ’88 or ’92 if he wanted it. If the winds blow the right way, Warren may well get in this cycle, but she would be best advised to wait.

The next President will have a mess to clean up and will anger many doing it. He is likely to be vulnerable at reelection.

*Rick Perry, Mike Pence, and Rick Snyder are other possibilities. Yes, Rick Snyder of Michigan has said a word or two about being open to the possibility of running for President. My favorite is Mike Pence, however, even if he isn’t seen as having a defining issue that Rick Perry or Scott Walker would have.

And of course, Sarah Palin knocks all of them down a peg (in my opinion) if she chose to run. I don’t think she will though.

In a primary run, Warren will have to outline all her positions on all pertinent issues, not just the ones she wants broadcast by MSNBC. et al. Her choice will be to lie like Obama did or reveal a profoundly radical liberalism.

Then again, the concept of electing America’s first Native American president is pretty compelling.

Warren’s 65 now Even if she were to run in this cycle, she wouldn’t take the Presidential Oath until she’s 67 that would make her the fourth person over the age of 65 to be elected president out of 44. If she were to wait until the 2020 Presidential election cycle, she would be starting to campaign at 69, campaigning from age 69 to age 71 and then assuming that she were to win would take the oath well on her way to 72. That would immediately make her the oldest person to become president (Reagan currently holds that record at 69 years 349 days).

It’s largely Hillary Clinton’s same problem, although Hillary is ALREADY 66 (she’ll be 67 on October 26). IF Clinton runs for President, she will become the 2nd oldest person to become president (at 69 Years, 84 days, Reagan will still have her beat by 265 days).

So, both Clinton and Warren are basically locked into THIS cycle if either of them wants to be President.

Obama is engaged in a slow-motion train wreck. His failures are becoming so obvious and laughable that the media can’t even protect him anymore. He’s poised to raise a giant middle finger to the 65% of Americans that oppose amnesty.

Unless McConnell and Boehner do something absolutely idiotic like trying to push immigration amnesty, any Democrat is going to have an unbelievable uphill battle to try and distance themselves from Obama.

If Warren ran and lost she would forever be tainted as somebody that wanted to follow Obama. She’s still relatively young, she can wait.

Hillary, on the other hand, is desperate. She’s an old woman, there are already serious questions about whether she is too old for the job right now. She HAS to run, no matter the climate.

Warren is going to go out there and let Hillary take the ‘follow Obama’ bullet, and then she’s going to try and run in 2020.

I still think she’s going to lose, but I think that’s her plan.
