It would be nice if the GOP would give us something to vote FOR rather than AGAINST.

Yeah, it is hard to get people excited with
“We’re not as Bad as They are!”

They have been doing that for a very long time, but they get about as much chance from the MSM to get across their message as Muslims who oppose Islamists do.

The NRA used to have the same problem, and for the same reasons (they were not worth much back before Clinton gave them all that great publicity).

But, members were able to find a way to turn things around.

The GOP’s should say:

1% less douchey than that other guy

The Establishment Party (E) We’ll throw you under the bus to get a better table at Martha’s Vineyard.

Not this hill. The next one. Maybe.

It is a good political cartoon, but it would be much better if the concept of the New Whigs actually “Stopping Obama from doing more stupid stuff” was credible.

Why the 2 downvotes on Subotai’s remarks? He’s correct that GOP has been ineffectual at stopping Obama and therefor lacks credibility.

Make your case, don’t hide behind down arrows. Thats cowardly (which, if you are GOP Establishment, is entirely understandable).

The cartoon shows why we must vote for our less than perfect, often lousy GOP candidates.

Here in Wisconsin I will vote for my congress critter, Paul Ryan, with far less enthusiasum than I have in the past. His “stand” on immigration confuses and dismays me. But a choice between Ryan and a Democrat is no choice at all. Ryan all the way.

I can happily vote for Ron Johnson as Senator and just as happily vote against, even if I doubt she can be defeated, Tammy Baldwin the far left lesbian who seems to think her sex life is somehow a reason to elect her. And many did just that.

I’m voting Democratic. (my republican representative is an Amnesty shill). None of these ideological or policy debates matter if 40% of Central America get entry (and citizenship as soon as they have kids.)
