There is something to this.

A major part of Obama’s failures on the economy was his massive spending to avert the paid of the recession. Well, recessions aren’t a bad thing, they are a necessary part of the business cycle.

Recessions squeeze out excesses and inefficiencies, force companies and families to hunker down and prioritize, and increase productivity. But there is a cost for this service in suffering and unemployment. The toll must be paid, there are no waivers.

So many of the mortgage relief programs, extensions of unemployment, expanded food stamps and disability approvals, and the like ameliorated much of the pains, but also prevented that becoming leaner and meaner.

The next President, to get us back on track, will have to make cuts. In benefits and in federal employment. He will probably have to address entitlement reform and tax reform and regulatory reform in short order. These will cause pain and disruption that was postponed by Obama’s palliative measures.

The public doesn’t like to take its medicine. The next GOP President is likely to be a one-terming unless he manages a Reaganesque recovery in his fourth year.

Warren is too smart to run this cycle.

Obama is collapsing as we speak. Obamacare is set to absolutely IMPLODE (even more than it has already) when the employer mandate finally kicks in. Most investors are in agreement that there is a serious economic crash in the very near future. The Middle East is on fire while Obama golfs.

No Democrat is going to be able to win in 2016. So Warren is very wisely chosing to wait.

Hillary, unfortunately for her, simply cannot. There are already serious questions about how old she is. She CAN NOT run in another 4 years. This is her last chance.

Warren is letting Hillary be the McCain. The candidate everybody knows is never going to win, but they put them out anyway so the party doesn’t just put out a crazy. Then in 4 years Warren is going to be the ‘new’ face of the Democrat party after the media spends 4 years bashing whatever Republican has been elected.

Why would she worry about confusing donors if she isn’t looking for donations?

This is exactly what it claims to be, a declaration that the named organization is operating on its own, not as part of her organization.

She HAS to do this in order to avoid legal complications when she goes public as running.

When it comes to Warren and her ilk on the left, a cynical assessment is often most accurate. I’ll bet this only means that Ready For Warren is using illegal or unethical methods to raise funds, Warren’s team just found out about it, and they are now making sure she is completely insulated from it.
