This is a serious issue. If I understood it correctly, they were talking on the Israeli radio about how part of the millions and millions of dollars given to rebuild Gaza was funneled by Hamas into tunnel-building, leaving some of their own people homeless. (They actually say it that way in Hebrew, “homeless”.)

Now think of the flotilla, and its success in forcing Israel to allow building materials into Gaza. The flotilla won, in that as a result, a certain number of Jews died, which of course is a success based on their goals.

Now what do we do? Can we stop the building materials again?

Living in Israel, I wish there were many more people like you. But please recall that in the 1930’s people also thought that Central and Western Europe (*) had also evolved past this sort of thing.

(*) The Eastern part had continued merrily murdering Jews pretty much non-stop until WWII.

As for what is “for real,” the first time I became aware of the Islamist penchant for obscenity, it was the posting of the murder of Daniel Pearl on the internet. Not the threats, not just the body, but the act of killing him. If you want an idea of just how obscene it gets, you can to to the archives of the Jawa Report, and look up what kinds of videos are favored by Islamists. Or, you can watch ISIS productions’ latest videos of mass murders as they were being committed in Iraq.

Ironically, if the people of Gaza had spent the money that Hamas spent on tunnels and rockets on the aid and relief supplies that they need now, they wouldn’t need the aid and relief, because Israel would never had had cause to attack.

Years ago, when I was in the US Army, a friend of mine had a theory. He theorized that the US only went to war over places where the weather was extreme and/or the terrain difficult, so that the military could establish training sites there.

There are many levels of surrogate terrorists.

There are the ivory tower terrorist supporters in American colleges and Universities. There are the sipping terrorists reading Le Monde in a Paris cafe. There are the terrorist sympathizers, like our own Obama, who hide behind women (Val Jarrett comes to mind) in air conditioned rooms – some in Qatar, some in California, some in cyber PR campaigns to ‘brighten’ their career optics.

There are the tunnel rat terrorists who infiltrate Israel and kill innocent people and then there are the terrorist’s surrogate ‘men’, too: the women and child taking the beating for their ‘men’.

IFFFFFF the other Muslim countries wanted to, they have HUGE tracts of land they could give the Palestinians for a state of their own.

But THAT would totally ruin their utility as cannon-fodder for the use of those same Muslim countries. Gazans are useful surrogates to liquidate Israel. That is the ONLY reason this crap goes on.
