I understand that the demands are, in fact, DOWN from their peak, with vastly increased funding.

The fact is that the Republicans’ filibuster stopped $20 billion from going to the Veteran Administration to build more hospitals for the returning Veterans. That coupled with the other Bush war victims and those from the Viet Nam era needs a lot of support…and there is a lack money for these great Americans.

Maybe we’ll be lucky and get enough Moderate Republicans to join the Democrats to pass a bill to serve those who have served our country, instead of what happened last February.
