Dissent is patriotic, sometimes

Dissent is patriotic, sometimes

From Don:

I saw this vehicle this afternoon while visiting my Mom at the hospital in Greensboro, NC.

The pale yellow bumper sticker reads as follows:

Bumper Stickers - Greensboro NC - Dissent

Somehow I don’t think the owner would view conservative dissent in quite the same light.

It’s also another misattribution, which is common in bumper stickers. That was a statement made about Molly Ivins, not by her. As it anyone cares, anyway.

“How bad do things have to get?’

Guess we’ll have to wait until January 2017 to find out.

As for me, I’m not optimistic.

The owner probably moved down from Mass. or N.Y.

They had to get away from all those high taxes brought about by unknown causes.

The same people are moving to my part of southwest Virginia and bringing their disastrous voting habits with them.

“As it anyone cares, anyway.”
