OSCE? Whazzat? Who are they, what do they do, and why are they doing it?

“Pro-Russian separatists”? That seems far too glib for that part of the world, where every grudge has a long and tedious history behind it.

I recall the Spanish Civil War, when one side was routinely called by the press “the Republicans”. And so they were; they were also the Communists, and everybody following the situation closely knew it. The point is that both labels were accurate, but both were also deceptively incomplete.

Some one really really smart just decided it was a good idea . Even smarter to send a fat Swedish diabetic to a region not inown for medical distribution in the best of times.
