I recall the Spanish Civil War, when one side was routinely called by the press &quot;the Republicans&quot;. And so they were; they were also the Communists, and everybody following the situation closely knew it. Even smarter to send a fat Swedish diabetic to a region not inown for  medical distribution in the best of times.
