according to Harry Reid

From J:

Wait, wait, hold on a darned minute. I think merely proclaiming this so publicly makes one a domestic terrorist according to His Lordship, Harry Reid, right?

So I guess the Nevada Cowboy Poetry symposium will be in competition with The South Nevada Cattle & Domestic Terorism conference.

With the possible GOP conference in 2016 , & the not so fast train it is all go in Nevada.

I can think of several good reasons for the RNC NOT to hold their convention in Lost Wages.

Harry “Grandpa Simpson” Reid is one of the biggest.

    Elections SHOULD have consequences.

This dangerous, cynical rabble-rousing to try to whip up the moonbat Collective NEEDS to be met with a concerted move to censure Reid by the U.S. Senate.

Is that “speech policing”? Yep. But nobody is ever allowed to incite a riot under their First Amendment protections, and that is what Reid is flirting with.

Slander of a private citizen is not covered by the First Amendment, either.

Reid usually unleashes these bombs from the Senate floor, where he enjoys immunity from slander suits. It would be interesting if he was sued for slander for this one.

According to a fellow rancher, the issue is not money per se, but unreasonable contractual terms.

Why The Other Ranchers Support Cliven Bundy
In the early 90s, the BLM went on a frenzy and drastically cut almost every rancher’s permit because of this desert tortoise issue

If this is true, then it would materially change the dynamic of this situation. Ranchers, unlike people in other industries, do not enjoy the option of offshoring their production (e.g. “green” technology), and thereby bypassing environmental laws. They also don’t have the luxury of obfuscation, which protects other land use when faced with similar environmental issues.

Americans really need to address the issues on their merits, beginning with what they want and need; and the compromises they will reasonable be required to endure. The special interests are clouding the issues, and preventing reconciliation, in the political, social, and economic domains.

Actually, they do have an option. They could move their operations to another nation (e.g. Russia, China), then ship the processed products back to America for local consumption. They would thereby avoid the obfuscation of “pravda” journalists, environmentalists, community organizers, etc.

There is a cause and effect embedded in this incident, which is worthy of further review.
