This is just an open thread for people to make their feelings known. I’m not going to “live blog” it.
But I may jump in with some thoughts as it goes along, maybe at any breaks.
And at the end, there will be an assessment.

I wish Romney WAS in favor of a $5 trillion tax cut. That’s what we need

Mitt is very impressive to say the least. Taking charge of the debate.
Romney is winning the “mute button” debate, i.e. if you turn the sound off, who looks like he’s winning on visuals alone?
Romney taking obama to task…did you hear obama say OK to Mitt when Mitt was talking about this $5 trillion tax plan obama keeps mentioning. Way to Fn funny.

Romney is clearly more prepared. He’s smart. He’s honest. He’s sincere. Most importantly, he is showing what an empty suit Obama is.
I’ve never really listened to Romney talk at length before. He is actually likable.

Is it just me, or is the fact that he complains about the “Bush tax cuts” as a burden to the economy, yet said that they are essential (and he extended them) in a recession a bit hypocritical?
Romney is very good but it is hard to debate a guy who makes up facts from wholecloth. Liars can counter everything.
Obama’s imaginary savings is defied with mounting national debt, high unemployment and increase in prices for food, energy, etc.
If Romney keeps up like this he won’t need any “zingers.” He’s really showing himself to be presidential and articulate. Obama just can’t say “raise taxes.” He keeps talking about the wealthy “contributing a little more.”
Again, “contributing a little bit more” by the rich will solve our problems, but closing loopholes etc. won’t. The word “schumck” comes to mind….
Romney not only smarter … Obama has to be good enough to lie his way out of trillion deficits, bad jobs, overseas failure etc

I watched The Green Party acceptance on C-SPAN and can only say that she is the stereotypical Progressive …. she has no sense of the money her promises would cost.

Listening on radio while I sit here in front of the computer. The Boy King now bleating about “what I was handed”, ya know, by Booooosh. Now talking about his “cutting” since he came to office….UUmmmmm, WTF pore did he pull that out of,’Yo? Now “Simpson-Boles Commission” recommendations which he says he took…!!!!
