They make it up on volume

They make it up on volume

The reaction of the left to the Wisconsin loss reminds me of the old joke about the businessman who loses money on every sale, but makes it up on volume.

Yeah. And now reality has pushed back on the claim the Deemcrats were massively out-spent.

Depriving them of their only anti-butt-hurt suppository.

And, when Kathleen Parker can smell “blood in the water” over the sickly sweet redolence of the NYC-DC salon…

you are cooked.

“The reaction of the left to the Wisconsin loss reminds me of the old joke about the businessman who loses money on every sale, but makes it up on volume.”

Certain restrictions and exclusions of sanity apply. Limit 100 bitterly delusional comments per MSNBC-host customer.

Yeah. There is a lot of anger and denial out there …

“You murderer!”

“You deserve to die!”

By Day 2 he figured out what was going on: T-Mobile had given him the phone number formerly used by George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who fatally shot Trayvon Martin in February.

This Der Untergang reset, the latest in an endless line of such resets, was linked to here the other day. However, in retrospect it is probably as accurate as anything coming from MSNBC and is probably seen by more viewers.

“…who loses money on every sale, but makes it up on volume.”

Isn’t that the tenet, underpining Democratonomics and Big Gubmint? Why the Preezy of the United Steezy, two days running, made an impassioned plea for more $$$ for his public sector (union) peeps?

Specially the teachers. They so richly deserve it (ever more $$$). Based on their results, of course. 50 years later, trillions invested, and we’ve gone from having the best educated children in the world, to barely staying in the top 25.

Big Gubmint. Mint. Like that “mint” at the bottom of a urinal. It looks like it’s providing a useful function. But it’s waste in, waste (over and) out, ….. but it doesn’t smell quite as bad. To hera the teachers (union) tell you.

“They make it up on volume.”

Of course, there are two meanings to “volume” here.

The left is still convinced that if they keep upping the tantrum ante, the other side will forfeit for fear that things are getting too ugly.

Who wants to win a point in a tennis match when the opponent goes John McEnroe ballistic after each point?

Just for giggles l checked out E. J. Dione yesterday on the off chance if there was anything of lefty thought out there he might be it. He made some good points but as usual with the left his post was littered with holes of factors ignored. l believe that is the lefts biggest problem. A growing # of people are becoming aware of this logic gap lurking in the lefts dogma & message. At the same time they have been lieing to themselves for so long they are blind to it.

You would think that the Newsbusters story on Reuters noting that OWS is now on its deathbed… while the Tea Party is thriving would have hit the blogosphere radar.

…suppose those stories don’t bring the million hits to our blog volume .. err aren’t hit the freakin tip jar worthy.

…the old joke about the businessman who loses money on every sale, but makes it up on volume.

And those of a certain age, Professor, will also recognize that that meme was already greatly advanced even as it was included in Joseph Heller’s widely-read, 1961 novel, Catch-22.

That “joke” was Solyndra’s actual business model. Seriously. http://www.frumforum.com/solyndras-solar-flame-out/

Obama and his entire horde of lunatics have to go in November. Well, technically in January, but you know what I mean. 🙂

You mean, they don’t make it up in volume?
Wow, and all these years, I thought…
