This is an interesting clip from Bashir, considering the posts that Ken at Popehat is currently doing. Should anything happen to Mitt’s bus, lawyer Carreon appears to have said that Bashir would be responsible. No?
Local media in Detroit is in full liberal bloom, every liberal initiative is long waited and cheered by everyone, no one ever expresses an opposite opinion or viewpoint.
And there’s never a negative sentiment towards Obama’s policies, blunders or trending national scandals either… they just wait until Obama responds and that’s the final say.

One funny thing yesterday though, I was scanning for Michigan Outdoors on PBS DPTV or whatever and there was a donation drive…
They showed the call-in phone operators just sitting there, no one calling in…

All of these British press people who have moved here were SCORNED in their own countries and fired. They got their jobs here because Americans seem to think that a British accent means someone is smart.

think of your favorite “Call Now, Operators are standing by” TV Hawker. Several years ago but not so much today, two of the three hawkers had what seemed to be “Brit” accents.
Knowing they were Liverpool “cockney’ accents if anything, my analytical conclusion was that “Market Research Analysts” had determined a ‘Brit” accent would sell more product.
If you ponder that keep in mind that it’s the same early twentieth century source going back to the Wilson Administration for “Act now and get two for $14.95″ throwaway product TV commercials AND for Journalism AND for political advertising.
Brit Accents??? (one of) My favorite TV anchor is American Cit British accented Stuart Varney of Fox Business Channel. ..Along with Brooklyn accented Neal Cavuto.
Predominate accent of the American Left is “The Neutral Midwestern Accent” which as it happens is my own natural accent. It is in fact the 10 generations of old “New England Accent”.
As another example Sara Palin’s accent is 3rd plus generation Minnesota twang Scandanavian, for the obscure reason that a bunch of Minnesotans were sent to Alaska as teachers in the thirties.
Think Accents.
Think Principle.
Picture TV Political ads in the same vein as “Call now operators are standing by”.

As the apparent Republican Presidential nominee, this should rate Martin Bashir the obligatory visit by the Secret Service.
Whereas FOX News seems to have a penchant for blond beauties, the rest of cable news (CNN, MSNBC, etc) feeds the diversity monkey with British accents. But, if you haven’t a British accent you’d better have an exotic, foreign sounding name. Alas, being African American simply isn’t exotic enough.
What do we expect them to promote on, journalistic skill, experience, and integrity?
I don’t blame Bashir for this video on Romney for the same reason I don’t blame babies for shitting in their diapers. It’s what they do. This is also why TV ‘news’ celebrities are only seen from the waist up.
