This is your gov’ment on sex

This is your gov’ment on sex

It’s all coming together this week, the absurdity of the entitlement state where everything must be subsidized:

It works for me, GM laying off 1300 due to low Volt sales:

DONATE

Donations tax deductible
to the full extent allowed by law.

Or your government-subsidized life.

Well, given fertility rates in most of socilist europe, I think that we know the answer.

Lubos Motl (Chechia) writes my favorite Physics blog. He has excellent commentary on this whole subject.

http://motls.blogspot.com/2012/03/rush-limbaugh-contraception-costs-and.html

If you haven’t considered that the rest of the world is maybe laughing at us, well, it is.

i’m just wondering if there will be sex inspectors.

I thought that was what the Terminally Stupid Administration was training their people for. Nothing like on the job training. See how well it’s working out with Barry?

LukeHandCool | March 3, 2012 at 2:18 pm

I know subversive parody when I see it.

What’s the phone number for Attack Watch!!! ???

Not just subsidized sex, but mandated sex.

Imagine high-school and college students being scrutinized for bigotry and thoughtcrime if they refuse to engage in bisexual experimentation.

Ridiculous? Probably.

But some months ago a 20+- year old article from the Boston Globe was floating in the intertubes. It derided, eyeroll cum sneer, the concern that (so-called) gay-rights legislation would put us on a slippery slope to gay marriage.

In an unnamed state legislature, a male senator offered a bill to lower the age of consensual sex with females to 14. The female senators were disparaging him. Finally, he gave in. He changed his bill to raise the age of consensual sex with females to 21, but made it mandatory.

The hits just keep coming on Sandra Fluke. While it has been reported that she is a recipient of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles’ Public Interest grant, leading one to believe that Fluke’s tuition at the tony Georgetown Law School is being picked up by that grant, it seems it ain’t so.

According to the WLALA, Sandra Fluke is the recipient of a 2010 grant of $5,000.00 to “fund the summer public interest project of Sandra Fluke.” This means that Fluke, or perhaps her parents, are picking up the following Georgetown Law School fees:

Juris Doctor (JD)

Full time (tuition) $23,432.50
Housing (Gewitz Center) $5,140 to $7,470.

This is per semester making the two semester cost at the minimum of $57,145, not including the annual cost of $1,895 for a student only health care plan. And does not include the cost of books, any lab fees, transportation, and condoms.

So the agitator/activist that is being presented to the nation as just another poor law school student who cannot afford constraceptives is plunking down over $60K/yr to go to Georgetown, or at least someone is plunking down that kind of money for her legal education. You would think they could throw in an extra $108.00/yr to pay for her birth control perscriptions at CVS.

Perhaps Professor Jacobson would like to comment on the curricula of Georgetown as it seems they are quite lax in courses on the U.S. Constitutionn and the First Amendment. But then, I have been told by a lawyer in my area, who attended Harvard, I believe, (or was it Yale?) that he never took courses in Constitutional law as that was not his field (he’s a tort lawyer who’se no longer getting rich due to the new Texas tort/loser pay laws). Of course, he is also a BIG Obama supporter.

That video is hil-arious! Finally, some great conservative humor!

Ow wow, I didn’t realize it was 3 years old. Huh, musta missed that one when I was still a lost “independent”.

You need to start posting an “Open Thread.” This is way off topic but I had to post it; some of you are going to love this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEnqVY0ArdA&feature=player_embedded#! Romney bragging about how he got so much more money from the Federal Gov. for the Olympics by appealing to EVERY agency. Even the Dept. of Education.

Time for a real March surprise

Paging all conservative ABR voters in Virginia (Newt / Rick x 2

LukeHandCool | March 3, 2012 at 3:52 pm

What man among us wouldn’t want to be 18 again and Fluke a girl in the backseat of that socially and ecologically resposible love-mobile?

LukeHandCool in reply to LukeHandCool. | March 3, 2012 at 3:52 pm

    “responsible”

DougV in reply to LukeHandCool. | March 3, 2012 at 5:12 pm

except that there was no back seat. Not much of a hood, either (not saying I did that, not saying I didn’t)

LukeHandCool in reply to DougV. | March 3, 2012 at 5:33 pm

Hehe. Me either. By the thumbs down I’m getting, I guess I went a little too far.

If I ever was doing something naughty in the backseat with a girl in my youth, it was only because she was an evil seductress playing mind games and taking advantage of my sweet naivete.

ohiochili in reply to LukeHandCool. | March 3, 2012 at 5:37 pm

I wonder if this latest Democrat manufactured diversion has anything to do with my youngest son and his sudden interest in attending Georgetown?

LukeHandCool in reply to ohiochili. | March 3, 2012 at 5:53 pm

      Dude! Of course!

When I was looking at colleges, the very first thing I looked at was the female to male ratio of the student body. Those were simpler times.

Lunke, you’re making my hands look better and better.

So the future is socially networked cars, although people would be banned from bodily fluid transfers like the sex scene in Demolition Man.

From gettin’ tail wit ur 59′ Caddy to cars getting more tail than their owners…. brilliant!

Volt plants are laying off.

NOT a sexy play on words…

SoCA Conservative Mom | March 3, 2012 at 4:10 pm

I bet there won’t be layoffs in the plant that makes the new 540 horsepower Camero.

Once the goveremt get into your health care choices, Roe v Wade will mean nothing. There will be no privacy once the government is already at the table.

Why should a gay-American be forced to subsidize a hetro-American’s sex life. Unfair!

    n.n in reply to Anchovy. | March 3, 2012 at 5:20 pm

For the same reason that responsible Americans subsidize medical services for both male homosexuals and promiscuous heterosexuals. This didn’t start with HIV, but it certainly accelerated with that visible consequence.

As we, in the muscle car generation, used to say:
Hey Nancy, “Eat my exhaust!”

radiofreeca | March 3, 2012 at 5:28 pm

Hey, if women have the right to free sex, then shouldn’t men also have the right to free sex (as in the govt pays for prostitutes, plus any/all alcohol and date-rape drugs they use to get sex from women who’d otherwise say “no”)? Now this program would also have to be fair to gays, swingers, and all manner of other forms of, ummm, adult indoor entertainment. I don’t believe in discrimination. Don’t say “no”, just take the ball and run with it!

Expanding on these newly discovered rights – how can you not have a Constitutional right to free recreational drugs, if you have a Constitutional right to free recreational sex? (professor, I’m no constitutional lawyer here – I’ll let you answer the question).

I am having a lot of fun imagining how this all turns into legislation, and all the headlines and puns that could be made. Game On!

Doug Wright | March 3, 2012 at 5:35 pm

There is absolutely nothing more to say about the subject of Ms Fluke and her views on her own life! Nothing more! Absolutely nothing!

Oh, what will Rush say on his Monday show since there’s nothing more to say about Ms Fluke and her need for continual sex around the clock!

Rush apologized to Fluke:

http://www.therightscoop.com/breaking-rush-limbaugh-apologizes-to-ms-fluke/

Next time you start a firestorm Rush, make sure you can control the blaze, so it doesn’t blow back on the Conservative message.

There are some people who should be ignored, and Sandra Fluke is one of them. Please don’t give this fool more media attention.

My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.

BTW, are you FREE this evening. uh.umm.er. Ah the hell with it.
