It’s that a society in which middle-aged children of privilege testify before the most powerful figures in the land to demand state-enforced funding for their sex lives at a time when their government owes more money than anyone has ever owed in the history of the planet is quite simply nuts.

My goodness, even Mark Steyn, usually a most astute and witty writer, claims that Ms Fluke had been testifying before the “most powerful” when in fact Fluke had been imitating a person testifying before Congress. Her damnable statement was an elaborate scheme to gain publicity, nothing more and certainly not too much less, a press conference without attending questioning from media types near her. And, yes, her statements did in fact strongly suggest that for her, sexual intercourse without the fear of becoming pregnant was her right; must have been inferred in the Bill of Rights, eh!
Another topic of some value might be to ask why the MSM still exist since the members thereof have a strong desire not to question anyone other than Conservatives. Ah yes, that is their now sole duty, plus praising their all mighty deity on Earth; at least until January 20, 2013, when hopefully, that deity will no longer sit on a throne of gold.

Mark Steyn has been pointing out the insanity with wit and insight for a number of years now. But things keep getting worse.
To be fair, it’s an election year, a time when the tiny cognitive abilities of politicians are even more taxed than usual. Who can spare any brain cells to think about the survival of the nation when their vastly more important political survival is at stake?

my $160,000 number is just from Megyn Kelly, saying that was the average for Georgetown graduates … it might have been 180.

Ms. Fluke seems to have adequate funds to fly from Washington, DC to California for her spring vacation with her boyfriend, the son of New York Reed Smith attorney (partner) and Democrat donor, William Mutterperl.
I wish someone would find out where she has a job lined up for after law school. I assume her scholarship requires a couple of years in the “public interest” sector, but it might be interesting to know where she has already signed on.
