I predicted this would happen.
It looks like there now is a fourth Cain accuser coming forward, to be accompanied at a press conference later today by Gloria Allred.
A fourth woman will claim that Herman Cain sexually harassed her while at the National Restaurant Association in a press conference today, RadarOnline first reported.
The woman will be represented by Gloria Allred, the Los Angeles-based attorney who represented one of the women involved in the Anthony Weiner twitter scandal earlier this year.
The press conference will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Friars Club in New York City.
If so, this would be the first accuser to actually appear and make factual allegations.

Gloria Allred, huh? And what is there in this for her? There is a statute of limitations, after all, so her client can’t sue Cain. Allred is dim party groupie who makes her living as an employee of the dim party out to bash any GOP candidates any way she can. I would go so far to say she is the lowest form of pond scum there is. An ambulance chaser extrodinaire. She is the lowest form of life who represents the lowest form of life. Just look at a list of her former clients. She kills me being so protective of her clients, the poor mistreated babies.
Everything you said about Allred is the concensus of opinion. But can you tell us, what is the statute of limitations on this kind of charge? Do you even know? And do you even know what the benchmark is for a slander charge? Do you even remember Anita Hill that was pulled out of anonymity years after she claimed the harassment happened?
I also suggest you remember that Allred literally destroyed any chance for Meg Whitman allowing for the election of Governor Moonbeam. Although I don’t like Gloria Allred (she’s an opportunist) don’t sell her short.

This is always the calculus: Is it worth it to do something about it?
I wonder how long it would take for her to retract were she to get slapped with a slander, libel and defamation lawsuit. It only works if she’s got some assets, though.
Cain may be a public figure, but that only protects accusers who act WITHOUT actual malice. It’s a high burden of proof, but IF she KNOWS that this accusation is false and makes it in the press without any documents or backup, it will be an ugly lawsuit. Hopefully whomever Cain’s attorneys are will make a Professional Discipline claim against Ms. Allred for allowing her client to make a public, unsubstantiated statement (again, if the accuser doesn’t have something to document said harassment). Attorneys can always make more money, but you start threatening their LICENSE and suddenly they get a LOT more cautious.
On the other hand, that may be what the Professional Left wants, thinking they’ll get a headline like “4th Cain Accuser Comes Forward, Cain Sues Accuser for Slander, Libel and Defamation.”
If she’s just a poor nobody, Cain should simply be dismissive and say something like this:
“I’m sure Ms. Allred can go out and find many dissatisfied former employees looking to make a quick buck from complaining about my time as CEO of the National Restaurant Association. Until they actually provide some evidence that they complained at the time, I think you should take their accusations with a small boulder of salt.”

Gloria may be lowest of lowlife lawyers, but she managed to torpedo Meg Whitman last year quite nicely. No, Meg was not a good or strong candidate, but Alred coming out with the housekeeper/maid didn’t do much good for an already floundering campaign.
They won’t stop until they have torpedoed Cain either. I saw a headline that Rush Limbaugh said something to the effect that the GOP needs someone to bankroll dirty fighting … it’s an idea.
