Obama: I’m not even halfway done

Obama: I’m not even halfway done

From Obama’s Birthday fundraising bash in Chicago tonight, via RCP (h/t @Allahpundit)(emphasis mine):

“It’s been a long, tough journey. But we have made some incredible strides together. Yes, we have. But the thing that we all ought to remember is that as much as good as we have done, precisely because the challenges were so daunting, precisely because we we were inheriting so many challenges, that we’re not even halfway there yet. When I said ‘change we can believe in’ I didn’t say ‘change we could believe in tomorrow.’ Not change we can believe in next week. We knew this was going to take time because we’ve got this big, messy, tough democracy,” President Obama said at a campaign fundraiser in Chicago on Wednesday night.

Resist the temptation to turn on one another, which is part of the fallout from the debt deal.

Remember what we are up against.  And what the consequences will be if we self-destruct.

I’m convinced. Be it Romney, Perry, or Bachmann, anyone is better than another four years of this guy.

Obama brought us change alright. Change from unemployment of under 6% to 9.2% with the biggest reduction in the American work force in 40 years. Change from a deficit of less than $500 billion to over $1.4 trillion. Change from slightly over $4 trillion increase in our national debt in 8 years to almost $5 trillion increase in our national debt in 29 months.

Yep, that is change you can believe in. If you are brain dead.

Amen, brother! Preach it! 😉

This is the time to get FIRED UP, and READY TO GO!! the TEA Party needs to get visible, vocal, once again. Speak up and out at town halls, rallies; start organizing behind solid Republican Conservative candidates.

No split party, no divisions. One team, united. This is the most important election in our nation’s history – and that says a lot, if you know your American history.

It’s that dire.

Our focus: win the White House – no second term for Obama; take back the Senate – preferably with a super-majority; increase the House majority. All with Conservative Republicans.

There is no time for squabbling. No time for pettiness. No time to blink. Our nation can’t afford 4 more years of this man’s “change” or “fundamental transformation”.

If it’s this bad, and he’s not “even half way” done yet…… He must want to destroy our country. There is just no other way to interpret his statement. G-d, help us!

Focus, people. Put our differences aside. We MUST be victorious!

Focus. Focus. Focus.

Oh, you mean that change somewhere-over-the-rainbow? Or that messy burger Paris Hilton ate (or did she eat Democracy)? Or maybe it was that messy hotdog Obama ate: http://lgstarr.blogspot.com/2011/06/how-is-this-hot-dog-like-us-economy.html ? (Heck, maybe it’s that French Fry that Michelle inherited from her Mom?)

So I guess its 20% unemployment or bust?

Not turn on each other? You mean like in Monty Python with Sir Lancelot? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPXG4pdPj4w&feature=fvwrel

There was a better one I can’t find sword fighting in the castle up and down the stairs, it may not be Monty Python.

[…] I’m straying from the subject. Happy Birthday Mr. President. You have managed, not single handedly mind you, to preside over the weakening of this great country. You can look back when you reach the […]

[…] celebration. See RCP, “Obama: “We’re Not Even Halfway There Yet” (via Legal Insurrection). Added: A Memeorandum thread […]

Hopefully people will believe him this time when he says what he plans to do to us. Report out DC putting out just over 600 new, new mind you, administrative rules for all of us to live by…in JULY ALONE!

The grand plan has always been to overwhelm the system and that includes using administrative rules as an invisible tax to bury the capitalist markets and have the statist crony takeover…GM, anyone?

Obama is telling us the push is on to get as much done as they can, even if he loses in 2012..which he has said he is willing to do to get this in place, it will take years to undo the damage that has been done.

Lesson: When someone tells you who they are (redistributor in chief) believe them….the first time!

David Horowitz of The Freedom Center warned me what we are up against back in 2002…’THe Left is vicious and Conservatives are too gentile to fight, always waiting for another day to pick up the battle’

Never forget these words of wisdom “The Left is Vicious”-this is what they are and this is what we are up against.

“because we’ve got this big, messy, tough democracy,”

He’s endlessly hinting that if He could just do things his way, he’d be delivering the utopia he promised. But only if he could have his way.

Dropping the seeds. Ever the Community Agitator, Agitator-in-Chief.

Not even halfway there yet? Isn’t that what the man who fell off a ten story building said on his way past the 6th floor?

Alternatively, I guess Obama might have fallen off a graph with a peak depicting the US economy on the day he won election.

Some days I sure wish I could draw political cartoons.
